How Many Were There?

"My parents are probably pissed off....and hunting me right now." Yeonjun sighed, worried.

They walked across the mall parking lot, now dark out. Taehyun offered to drive everyone home, but was worried about fitting beomgyu and yeonjuns clothes in his jeep.

"You could stay at my house. I dont feel comfortable going to the dorms either. The weird guy in the courtyard chased me last night...." beomgyu held his arms, instinctively getting defensive at the thought.

Yeonjun rubbed circles on beomgyus back, trying to comfort him. "Yeah, lets do that then. File a report at the school with me when we can go together again. Ok?"

"Can you two quit chatting, and help me with YOUR bags? We have to wait for soobin and hueningkai anyway." Taehyun threw a bag of clothes at yeonjun and beomgyu, both barely catching it.

"Soobin,.....soobin please-please slow down-hyung?..." hueningkai tried desperately to keep up with the dazed off soobin. Hed never seen him so upset before.

Hes not marked, they can smell him, and he doesnt take my warnings seriously.....how am i supposed to help him if he welcomes wolves???

The man from before was still haunting soobins mind, he tried to think of a reason why the group would have a stalker, they were pretty much an odd mixture.

1. A rich top-alpha. Could be wanted for money, for status-?
2. An unknown secret omega, pretending to be an alpha. Could be wanted by- he had no clue on this one.
3. The first beta to get a mixed school approved.
4. A brave little omega with zero people sense. Probably wanted by a sicko.

The fourth worried him, but altogether he really wanted to know which of them was his target and why.

"aHhmm-!" A thud caught soobins attention as they were walking to the exit of the mall.

He turned around to see a teary hueningkai on the ground, holding his ankle.

Needless to say, any of soobins aggression had vanished and was replaced with concern.

"Hueningkai? Whats wrong?!" Soobin wiped a tear from the teary boys face.

"M-my ankle....you wouldnt slow down, so it-" hueningkai hissed when soobin touched it.

"Im so sorry.....i shouldnt have made you walk so much....here." soobin lifted hueningkai onto his back, careful not to bump his foot.

"Thank you. Im sorry I didnt listen to you....he seemed harmless, and he was really nice." Hueningkai sulked, laying his cheek on soobins shoulder.

"Huening, he was not nice. You cant welcome random people, i dont know how it was in your homeschool, but its vicious out here, and you could get-" soobin couldnt continue at the thought of someone evil harming hueningkai.

"Youre scaring me....he did help, its true, nothing else. Why are you so angry over it?" Hueningkai was trying to ration out why the usually kind soobin was being like this.

"He probably had ulterior motives, you are an unmarked, Very attractive omega, your scent is very strong, and you cant sense danger!! Listen to me this once, ok? Please....If youre in danger, i cant sense it anymore...." soobin exposed his concern, making hueningkai feel bad.

Hes worried about me....would it be awkward to ask him for another mark? Hed know....

"Ill do something about it, dont worry, ok?" Hueningkai smiled and hugged his arms around soobin tightly, trying to reassure him.

"Promise?" Soobins mood seemed to brighten. He set hueningkai in the backseat of taehyuns car, seeing the three others still struggling to fit the shoe boxes in the back.

"Promise. Thank you for protecting me." Hueningkai grabbed soobins hand as he set him down and linked their pinkies.

Protecting him? Im protecting him? Soobin felt an ego boost. No one has ever made him feel strong before, other than the lady at the bakery he got his treats from when she needed help lifting boxes.

Now that he thought about it, that was pitiful.

"Goodnight." Soobin got one last hug from hueningkaj before watching him vanish into the omega dormatory.

"Relax, youll see him tomorrow at achool you big baby." Yeonjun chuckled at soobins longing look.

"Whats wrong with him?" Beomgyu didnt catch on.

"Hes been burying his head in fated mates research and hes dead sure that hueningkai is his." Yeonjun sighed and held the alpha dormatory door open for the two.

Soobin trudged over to his dorm room, missing living with hueningkai, the dorm was much too empty now.

"Goodnight my whipped friend." Beomgyu giggled and waved, waiting until soobin was in his dorm.

"So where is your house anyway? You wouldnt tell about your parents, or how you faked being an alpha, but youll take me home with you?" Yeonjun perked an eyebrow, curious.

"Its...a little embarrassing." Beomgyu went back the way they came, pondering the thought of actually going back home.

Beomgyu stopped when he got a message on his phone.
