A Chance To Learn A Lesson

"I AM SO SORRY IM LATE COACH- I-" yeonjun was hushed quickly by the coach.

"Judging from your clothes, i guess my top alpha in training got a pretty little omega last night huh huhhhh-" the coach teased and laughed.

Yeonjun looked down at the shirt he had put on, having a cartoon bear hibernating in a pile of video games.

His face flooded with a bright blood red as he covered the print. "Yeah...it was a pretty omega...." yeonjun tried to shyly play it off.

"Alright, well i wont count you late since im still waiting for choi soobin..the kids been absent AND late two days in a row. Join the others by the obstacle course." The coach marked soobin absent on his chart and yeonjun present, gesturing to the group of kids walking in the obstacle course room.

Soobins late? What the hell hed never miss a day....

Yeonjun decided to brush it off, thinking he was sick, and ran past the netting into the obstacle course, watching as alphas chased eachother for practice.

"Alright boys, i want you to listen up. Once youre in there, im locking the door, theres a ribbon hanging at the top of the obstacle course, whoever gets it first, gets a relaxation day pass. Whoever doesnt, well....you know." The coach snickered..

"Wait, what happens if we dont?" Beomgyu poked out of the crowd, surprising yeonjun at how quickly his fever healed for him to be doing this.

"Then you stay in the course until you escape. Simple. Oh....and my advice is teamwork, alphas specialize in pack bonding right? Good luck. God speed." The coach hesitated for a moment, then blew the whistle, sending all the alphas bolting.

The scene seemed identical to something like cougars climbing trees like a black flood.

Yeonjun looked around, worried beomgyu got trampled. To his surprise, beomgyu was actually topping the rest, climbing to the second level of netting.

(For reference, imagine the course they did in To Do but bigger.)

Yeonjun quickly leveled the pole and caught up to beomgyu, not letting the boy threaten his rank again.

"I thought you said we didnt know eachother in front of others?" Beomgyu whispered as he entered the tunnel and yeonjun tailed him, hearing the others catching up.

"Just because im close to you doesnt mean theyll assume things, i cant let you beat me." Yeonjun grew competitive.

"We could be partners." Beomgyu suggested.

Yeonjun was slammed to the side of the tunnel with beomgyu as a pair of alphas bolted through the tunnel past them.

Beomgyu could see the anger on yeonjuns face.

They reached the end of the tunnel and yeonjun huffed. "Yeah. Lets do that then, how do you suppose we beat those assholes?" Yeonjun peaked to make sure no other team was close to reaching them before stopping.

Beomgyu looked around, up at the ribbon dangling down from the center of the course.

A monkey bar like contraption was on the very top floor, obviously as the last thing to use to get the ribbon, but not too far below it was the top of the tunnel they came through.

"Yeonjun, can you lift me?" Beomgyu started stretching.

"You think im that weak? Of course i can, why?" Yeonjun put his hands on his waist and watched as beomgyu climbed on top of the tunnel.

"Theres no rule saying we have to use the set path, so throw me up to those monkey bars. Then, stay on the tunnel and ill drop the ribbon down to you, and climb down myself." Beomgyu offered his hand to help yeonjun on the tunnel.

"You want me to WHAT??!" yeonjun looked at the height.

Is this boy insane???!!

"Do you want to win or no?" Beomgyu urged, making yeonjun grab his hand and climb on top.

Yeonjun took ahold of beomgyus hips and heaved him up steadily. "Ready?....1...2......."

"Three!" Beomgyu said as he leaped whilst yeonjun threw, barely grabbing the monkey bars. It was like he flew.

Yeonjun saw a little bit of a spark around his hands when he said three, and felt a flash of cold water rush over him, even if there wasnt any actual water splashing on him.

What the hell was that?? Did he electrocute me???!!

"Yeonjun!!!" Beomgyu dangled upside down, urging yeonjun to catch the ribbon if he dropped it.

Yeonjun noticed the two other alphas rushing across the monkey bars to steal the ribbon.

Beomgyu dropped the ribbon down to yeonjun and he caught it, holding it up as the whistle went off.

"Yeonjun and Beomgyu captured the ribbon! Course complete!" The coach yelled over the speakers.

"YES!!! WE DID IT!! AHAHA YOU BITCHES TRIED! WHOS TOP ALPHA HUH?? HUH??" Yeonjun enjoyed rubbing it in the others face, and prepared to walk out of the course with his partner.

"Beomgyu! We did-....it?" Yeonjun saw the boy droop down from the monkey bars, and try walking over, but his limbs seemed to turn to liquid.

"Beomgyu! Hey....woah take it easy!" Yeonjun caught the boy and felt his fever again.

"You idiot, if you didnt feel better why would you come to class?!" Yeonjun hoisted the boy in his arms and left the course, seeing the coach lock the door behind them.

"I....want to learn from the alpha class." Beomgyu seemed determined even in his feverish state.

"We have till fifth hour.....im taking you to rest at the nurses." Yeonjun decided, and felt beomgyu give a tired 'mm. Sure..'

Beomgyu had never liked being held by an alpha, but being carried when he felt like shit reminded him of his dad taking care of him, so he felt safe.

"You big baby i told you its not all its cracked up to be. Hold still. Coach is going to seriously punish you for missing alpha training. I already sent hueningkai to omega training."

Taehyun growled and smacked soobins arm. Soobin whined and complained about the needle hurting in his sensitive state.

"Listen, you cant bang my best friend, so youre getting a shot to prevent this. One wont hurt, but this is the only time. And youre going to class, got it?" Taehyun finished giving soobin the shot and waited for it to take effect.

"Got itttt..." soobin groaned and sat up, feeling like shit.

"Go talk to coach before fifth hour i heard he was doing ibstacle courses today. Heres a note saying you were sick." Taehyun handed over a pass and stood up, checking the time.

"Youre doing really well for being mated and all, stay strong ok? I have to go to the omega class today."

Soobin burned with jealousy now. Betas got to take any type of classes they wanted, which meant taehyun got a full round education. He knew the coach would be pissed when he went down, so he followed tarhyun out in hopes of getting it over with quickly.
