Y/N had put on her pyjamas and sighed as she looked into the mirror of her room. She really hoped time would speed up so Andy could be home again soon and she wasn't really feeling too great about spending time with Jacob in his room. Alone.

Maybe she should have said no. But she couldn't resist, how could she? The way he'd grinned at her had sent her stomach into a frenzy of loop-the-loops and butterflies. She sighed softly and shook her head, knowing full-well that she was going to end up going with him to watch a movie anyway. However, she couldn't help but feel tired- it was getting quite late, after all.

Y/N headed down the hallway and got to Jacob's room, walking inside. He was laying there on his bed, lights off, TV-blue-light making him visible in the darkness. One hand behind his head and one hand holding a remote as he flicked through movies. His eyes met Y/N's the moment she walked into the room. "Took your time." He grinned at her before gesturing to shut the door behind her. She did as she was told before walking into the room and sitting down on a beanbag near the TV but a good couple of meters away from Jacob.

"What are we watching?" Y/N asked, looking over at him. He looked very comfortable, wearing a loose t-shirt and grey sweatpants.

Jacob shrugged at her, "I'll just throw on something random." He continued flicking through the movies on the screen, he chuckled, "365 days?"

"God, no." Y/N replied quickly and he kept flicking through the movies, there was no way she was watching a movie like that with Jacob. Not to mention the fact that if Andy looked at the 'continue watching' bar and saw that- he'd cancel that subscription quicker than lighting.

Jacob ended up settling with a documentary called 'The Ripper', Y/N didn't really like the sound of it but Jacob insisted. Apparently it was really good.

As it began to play and the video began to set up the circumstances for the investigation, Y/N heard Jacob's bedframe creak and he sat up. "Could you be sat further away from me?" He joked and looked at her with hungry eyes. Jacob nodded to the spot next to him on the bed. "Come and sit by me." He told her and moved the blanket out of the way.

Y/N sighed quietly and looked over at him, they always used to watch a movie in bed together and it used to be one of her favourite things to do. What changed? Y/N nodded and headed over to him, getting into the bed next to him.

He pulled the blanket over the two of them as he lay back down again, eyes looking over at the TV as he spoke. "Much better."

The documentary only got darker from that point, talking about gruesome murders and giving very graphic details about the deaths. Considering what had happened in the past and what was happening currently, Y/N felt uneasy watching it. But Jacob was watching the video as if he were merely watching a comedy. Sometimes she'd hear him chuckle at points where the police were giving recounts of how hard it was to catch the guy.

As the documentary went on, she felt Jacob lean closer to her, so his torso was pressed against her back, head resting slightly above hers on the pillow. Y/N fought the urge to shiver at his touch. Despite how normal that used to be for them both, Y/N couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something else coming. But maybe there wasn't, maybe Y/N just needed to learn how to trust him again.

There were photos of the case, photos of the states that the victims had been left in. Y/N winced at the sight of them, even though they were very brief. Jacob exhaled harshly from next to her, her hair moving at it. Jacob budged away from her slightly but still kept close, arm coming down around her waist.

"You okay, Jake?" Y/N asked, finally beginning to feel a little more comfortable.

Jacob hummed in response in the crook of her neck, "Just perfect."

Y/N sighed softly, very aware of the boy laying next to her with his arms around her. One hand rested on her hip now. Despite the fact they'd known each other for years, and the fact that Y/N was certain Jacob just thought of her as a friend, she couldn't help but feel heat rise to her cheeks at his touch. She was a teenage girl, after all.

Y/N froze, trying to make sure she wasn't imagining it. No, Jacob's hand was definitely moving, now his hand was resting on her lower stomach and she knew she should move, or say something, but part of her was telling her to stay where she was. Maybe he wouldn't move it any further.

But he did.

"Jacob, what are you doing?" She asked, shuffling around a little, her cheeks scorching hot. At her discomfort, Jacob moved his hand away again, putting it back on her hip, as if it'd never left it.

"Nobody's home. We wouldn't get caught this time." Jacob whispered in a hushed voice, tracing small patterns on her hip with his index finger.

Y/N sighed softly and shook her head, "Jacob, no..." She trailed off, but a part of her was telling her to just let it happen. What was she afraid of?

"Andy won't know, if that's what your worried about. It can be our secret."

Y/N shook her head again and rolled away from him a little, shrugging his hand away from her hip and looking at him, propping herself up a little. It was wrong. They couldn't do that, could they? Y/N didn't feel right about it, but she wasn't sure why. Nerves? Disgust? Who knew the difference at that point. "We can't, Jake."

Jacob sat up and looked down at her, "And why's that?" He asked. "If it's because you genuinely don't want to, I'll stop right now and we'll just finish the documentary. But if there's a reason that can be easily overcome..." He teased, eyeing her.

She shook her head again, laughing a little. She knew exactly what she was going to say to him.
