"Wait up !" You screamed , trying to catch up to your best friend . You draped your arms around her shoulders as you led her towards a bench in your neighbourhood park .

"What do you mean ?" You asked , giving her a death stare . She stared at you for a few seconds before sighing . "Which part of 'B/N likes you' do you not understand ?" She answered , tired of repeating the same thing over and over again . You bowed your head in deep thought . "B/N likes me ? No way ..."

You shot up from your seat on the bench and without a word , quickly trudged back to your dorm . You could hear your best friend trailing after you , curious as to why you were acting so strange all of a sudden . For the five years that she has been your best friend , she knew that you didn't really care about boys . Or that's what she thinks . Truthfully , you had a crush on him ever since the first day of high school , just that you never had the guts to tell anyone . Not even your best friend who you knew you could trust .

You threw yourself onto the bed and gazed at the ceiling . The door to you bedroom creaked open and your best friend walked in . She sat herself on the edge of your comfy single bed and didn't say a word . Neither one of you spoke up , even the sound of a pink drop would be heard .

The tension between the both of you began to increase . She then decided to speak up . "What's wrong ?" She inquired , worth evident in her voice . You shook your head and debated whether to tell her or not . You sat up from the bed and faced her . "Don't tell anyone , okay ?"

You told her the story of how you fell for his charming smile , his personality , his looks and everything about him . You knew this story was far beyond embarrassing and she would laugh at you for sure . But instead , she flashed you one of her ever so sweet smiles and patted you on your back . You heaved a sigh of relieve , happy that she didn't break out in laughter . "Sorry for not telling you earlier ..." You trailed off . "Yeah , it's been five years ! You should have told be sooner !" She joked , grinning from ear to ear . You couldn't help but laugh along with her , and you already felt much better .

The next day in school , you saw him . He was coming your way . You could hear your best friend giggle and pay you on your back as she slipped away . "H-Hi ..." He stuttered . "Oh my gosh . Did he just stutter in front of me ? So cute !" You thought , as a smile crept onto your lips . "Hello ..." You answered , just as nervous . He scratched his nape and brought something out from behind his back . "Happy Valentines Day ." He said , presenting a chocolate rose in front of you . You gasped slightly and rubbed your eyes . The love of you life , actually giving you a chocolate rose . You could now officially sleep in peace

"Would you be my valentine ?" He asked , saying it all very quickly as if he was nervous . You nodded unconsciously and accepted his chocolate rose . All this time , you forgot that it was Valentines Day today . You suddenly felt a surge of courage and asked him one of your most life-changing questions in your life . "Do you want to hang out after school today ?"

He nodded vigorously , his head seemed like it was going to fall right off . Ugh he was so adorable . You felt a blush forming on you cheek as you thought about how adorable he was . Just in time , the bell had rang as if it was trying to save you from embarrassing yourself . For once , you were actually thankful for the bell . You shyly waved goodbye to him as you walked towards your class , almost bumping into a pole .

For the rest of the day , you couldn't stop thinking about him . You detested the occasional blush that formed on your cheeks .

As the cafeteria began to fill up with students during break time , you bounced over to your best friend , where she was sitting at her usual spot . There was a cheeky grin on her face as she eyed your behaviours . "Hey don't look at me like that ..." You said , sitting down next to her . She demanded every single little detail about what happened between the "two love birds" , as she described it .

After school , you stumbled out of class and headed straight for the girl's toilet . You wanted to look your best , after all . You adjusted your tie and arranged your uniform . You still had time to spare before meeting him at the school gate . You decided to seek some last minute tips from your best friend .

You tried to calm down , deep breathing as you spotted him at the school gate . He was leaning against the gate , adjusting his bag strap . "Model material !" Your thoughts screamed , as you nervously approached him . You cleared your throat for him to notice you and when he did , he immediately stood upright .

"Alright , time for our date ?" He asked , as he extended his arm out for you to take , a smirk clearly imprinted on his flawless face .
