Mother's POV
"another day another year" I said as i made some oatmeal for Y/n and their/his/her brother, once I was finished I left to go wake them up for the day to begin. I was still sad since their father passed away, I didn't know what to do since I didn't have any faith in myself anymore but Y/N had the sweetest smile just like her father. I felt bad for my poor children that had to live without their father but he would want us to keep going forward Never back to the past. So I left to go wake up the kids and they got ready for the day
Brothers POV
mother woke us up for the day to begin I was still tired so I fell back asleep I didn't want to get up but I smelled something good so I got up and told my mom morning and headed downstairs to the dining room

Your POV
When mom was in our room I thought brother was going to fall asleep again but seems like he didn't this time I smelled the breakfast and I can smell why he got up and headed downstairs. I told mother good morning with a smile. Once we headed downstairs mother and I sat down at the dinner table and we began to eat brother sorta fell asleep on the table but mother woke him up and he began to eat aswell, it tasted really good.
Once we were done mother said that we were going to the park and careful on the way back home we both nodded and left to put our shoes on we were waiting on our mom, once she got here we left to the park which was across the street and once we got there my brother and I played but there was this boy that I saw and he looked lonely so I walked up to him and said "hi, I'm Y/n what's your name?" And he responded "I-im A-ad-Adam" "that's a lovely name. And do u have anyone to play with?" He shaked his head no so I thought and said "do u want to play with me? I dont have anyone to play with too" "s-sure!" He got up and we both began to play on the playground and it was fun we played pirates, tag, hopscotch, and we also played on the swings and then he asked me a question before I was about to leave and so did he "hey, um Y/n?" "Yeah Adam?" "Do u want to be friends well what I mean is best friends" "yeah sure I've always wanted a friend" u both laughed and said your goodbyes
It was a really good morning so we head home and got ready to go visit father to tell how our days have gone I would sometimes speak to him alot but this time I made a friend,

Wow ok that took me longer I felt dismotivaded but I got it back I was gone very long (543 words cool!)
