Bitch no I couldn't believe it!," Zoey said to Lizzy as they prepared for the homecoming dance.

I do have a confession to make," Lizzy sighed

No.. this whole time I knew it was Chris," She laughed a bit as she thought about the situation.

So you knew he was the one who stood me up?." Zoey raised a brow

Guilty," Lizzy replied

But at least it's a good one. So are y'all official?." she asked as she put on we lashes

I don't know. I don't wanna rush things I just found out it was him hours ago.

As Zoey and Lizzy talked there was a knock on the house door which meant the boys were there. Lizzy and I did finishing touches and went downstairs.

Y'all look amazing." Chris and BigC said not being able to take their eyes off of us

Eyes up here young man," Lizzy's dad, Jerome said

Home by 11 girls. We'll be out of town until Wednesday but that doesn't mean we don't have eyes and ears on you girls," My dad added

Jerome leave them alone they're responsible and trustworthy,"Lizzy's mom said

Yeah Terrance now come on here I'm ready to go to this cabin," Lisa smirked and rubbed my dads chest

Okay ew old people love can we go guys," BigC said. Everyone laughed and then we made our way to the homecoming dance. Soon as we walked in the DJ was playing back that azz up and you know Lizzy and I acted a fool.

I didn't know you danced like that." Chris smiled

Don't act like you didn't like it cause I felt a poke or two," I winked

Anyways so what did you think about my performance?," Chris asked.

I was waiting on you to ask me that," She smiled. However, before Zoey could speak these two senior girls came up to Chris.

Oh my gosh Chris I didn't know you can sing," The dark skin one said. Yeah an athlete and he can sign that's kind of hot to me," The white one bit her lip.

Thank you ladies but I was talking to someone so if you would excuse yourselves," He thanked them

Like I was saying before bimbo 1 and 2 came up, I was shocked honestly because I never put your voice with the singing voice. I was embarrassed that you of all people had me blushing and I didn't even notice," We laughed

What do you mean it was me of all people? Am I not popular enough to be with a popular girl like you?." He raised a brow. What? Chris no! I was just saying you didn't seem like you do any of those things.

So now I seem like I'm not talented?." Chris fussed

Chris really? All I'm saying is your shy as fuck and you don't find most football players that sing!," I stormed off to the bathroom. When Zoey went to the bathroom Lizzy wasn't too far from behind her.

What's wrong?." Lizzy asked. She explained to her bestfriend what happened and they made their way back to the gym hoping to enjoy the rest of the dance. Well that went out the window when she went back to the dance and seen Chris dancing with some girl.

Did you forget you are mhm I don't know MY date," Zoey said looking at the girl

I didn't know you came with someone," The girl rolled her eyes and walked off. I thought you left," Chris said

I'm ready to go maybe we can try again in November," I spat. They went to iHop for dinner and then to Zoey's house but of course freaky ass 1 and 2 went to BigC's house. Zoey wasn't really in the mood to hear what Chris had to say so she kissed him on the cheek and proceeded to walk away.

Zoey," Chris said

Good night Chris," I waved him off. I unlocked the door to my house and slammed the door in my face. Zoey goes straight to her room, showers and gets in the bed reading books on Wattpad. As I read my book Anonymous by Shanazia Antionette I heard pebbles bouncing off my window. Zoey went to her window and seen Chris outside.

Zoey please talk to me," Chris pleaded. Ok Chris the songs letting me know you like me was cute but this is just flat out corny.. but I like it," Zoey couldn't help but smile so she went downstairs and let Chris in.

Zoey look.. Honestly I don't know what came over me but I'm sorry," Chris sighed. Chris let's just order some food ok?," I said to him

He sighed and shook his head yes.
