Zoey walked out coaches office and met Lizzy at her car. When Lizzy seen her she jumped up and asked her about the results.

Yeah but Zoey can you blame her?," Lizzy said putting her seatbelt on; When Zoey heard that it made her blood boil to hear her bestfriend going against her.

Zoey drove home and planned to sleep until tomorrow but her plans were interuppted when her step mom and her dad sat at the kitchen table. What happened?." Zoey went to the fridge and got a apple and a bottle of water.

This was my first time I've heard him talk to me with such seriousness in his voice so I knew I had pissed him off bad. Zoey took a deep breathe and let it all out.

I messed up! Okay dad. I'm not perfect. Everyone expects me to be little miss perfect and get everything right. Well I messed up.. I screwed up." She broke down crying and ran to her room.

I ran to my room and I thought I was done but dad and Lisa came right behind me. Listen Zoey I love you no matter what. You and your sisters can mess up as many times as you want too that won't make me love you any less." Dad said

Bottom line is baby we love you and we want you to be the best you can be and don't try to get everything right," Dad kissed her forehead. After the talk I realized I needed to clean up what I messed up. I showered and then drove to Lizzy's house.

Hey Mrs. McCarter is Lizzy home?," Zoey asked

No she's at Christain's house. You two need to make she's been moping for about 5 hours seems like," Her mom said.

Zoey drove to Christain's house and knocked on the door then Chris opened the door.

BigC clapped his hands and fake cried. We broke our hug and Lizzy pointed upstairs. I couldn't lie I did owe Chris an apology. She walked upstairs to his room and knocked on the door.

Oh Zoey," He moved aside so she could come in.

Hows Charles?," He said bluntly

We broke up and you all were right.. He wasn't right for me and I'm sorry for everything I said to you and I was wrong and I hope that you can forgive me," Zoey said

It was quiet and then Chris started laughing. Really Chris? I'm sitting here doing something most women don't do and your laughing? Bye," I was about to walkout until Chris stopped me

I'd like that," I took my sandals off and sat on the floor. He put in Nina Simone and sat beside me.

I'm glad were friends again," I laid my head on his shoulder.
