Skullhearts and Skullgirls (On Hiatus)

It's early in the morning the next day and the sun has yet to rise as we get our sight on Y/n sleeping in his bunk before the lights outside suddenly turn on, the resounding chorus of people groaning in discomfort, annoyance, and confusion ringing out as Y/n and Scythana both woke up with the other prisoners 

Scythana: "The hell's going on out there?" 

Y/n: "I don't know, let's go check" 

Scythana: "You go, I'll just...lay here..." 

and with that, Scythana then yawned and started drifting off again as Y/n then got out of bed and walked to the prison cell door as he tried his best to look outside but couldn't see much as all he heard was the shouts of the other prisoners before two Black Egret soldiers came to a stop at his cell and turned to face him as Parasoul walked into View 

Y/n: "Ms. Renoir? Why have you come here this early in the morning?" 

Parasoul: "I've gone over your offer with other key members of the Black Egrets and we've all come to the same conclusion" 

Y/n: "And that is?" 

Parasoul stood there in silence for a few moments, an unreadable expression on her face as the two Egrets next to her tightened their grips on the STG 44's in their hands which put Y/n on high alert as Scythana was now wide awake and peeking over the railing of her bed 

All was silent for a few seconds before a smile found it's home on Parasoul's face as she held her hand out to the side as an Egret handed her a red armband which she then placed in Y/n's hand 

Parasoul: "Welcome to the Black Egrets Y/n" 

Examining the armband, we saw that the Icon on it was different from the rest of the Egrets, It was a picture of the Skull heart with the Egret's umbrella in the middle of its forehead and Y/n sighed in relief before chuckling to himself 

Y/n: "For a second there, I thought you were going to shoot me" 

Parasoul: "That would be a foolish mistake on my end, having you on our side makes you a valuable asset to combat the Skullgirl when they show themselves" 

Y/n: "When you say it like that, makes me feel like I'm just some weapon for you to use at any time" 

Scythana: "Because you pretty much are" 

Hearing Scythana's voice, they looked back to see her now sitting up and looking down at them as Parasoul's smile turned to a scowl at the sight of the Half Gigan 

Parasoul: "I was unaware that you were made her cellmate of all people" 

Scythana: "Good to see you too princess" 

The tension was so thick it could be cut with a knife as the two silently glared at each other before Y/n then snapped his fingers, getting their attention as he then started talking 

Y/n: "Alright, well When do we leave?" 

Parasoul: "Right now" 

Y/n: "Really? damn, ok then. well just give a moment to say goodbye to my friend here"

Parasoul: "I'll give you five minutes" 

Parasoul and the Egrets then walked off as Y/n then sighed and leaned against the wall and looked up at Scythana who was looking down at him 

Y/n: "Well Scythana, looks like this is goodbye for now" 

Scythana: "Sure looks like it..." 

Y/n: "I may have been in here for less than a week but I have to say, I'm sure gonna miss it here"
