Great night for a street fight: Part 1

We get our sights on Y/n, Filia, Squigly, and Nadia as they walked through the streets of Maplecrest as the sun began to set and the streets were illuminated by streetlamps that were spread along the pavement as Nadia looked around the place and whistled in amusement 

Nadia: "So Skeletron Prime, you live in this neighborhood?" 

 Y/n: "Yeah, why do you ask?" 

Nadia: "Just making some small talk, seems like an alright place...it's a little boring looking though" 

Y/n: "Yeah, I thought it would've made the perfect place to lay low, but sadly that wasn't the case, barely a day here and I was already on the Medici's watch list" 

Nadia: "Ha! I feel ya, I've been on their list for a while now" 

Y/n: "Yeah, how long exactly though?"

Nadia: "I'd have to guess...a few months, I think?"

Y/n: "Wow, really? And how come they've not been able to catch you yet?" 

Nadia: "I'm just that good, it's hard to catch someone who can split her body into multiple pieces like thi-" 

Filia: "Please don't do it again, I don't think I could stand seeing a sight like that for a third time tonight"

Nadia: "Well, aren't you a killjoy, fiiiine, I won't do it again...for now" 

Filia: "Phew, thank you Nadia" 

Nadia: "Whatever, don't be surprised if you wake up with my head in your bed tomorrow though~" 

Filia: "E-Eh?! You wouldn't!" 

Nadia: "How do you know that? You've only just met me today" 

Filia: "W-Well, I-i just assumed that...Hmph!" 

With a pout, Filia then started storming off towards the house as Nadia giggles before she starts skipping after Filia 

Nadia: "Nyaaww, wait up Filia!" 

Filia: "Stay away from me!"

Nadia: "Nyo can do~!" 

Nadia then started chasing after the now running Filia which left Y/n, Leviathan, and Squigly on their own as they laughed at their friend's antics before they eventually calmed down and walked in silence before Y/n up 

Y/n: "Hey Uh...I just wanted to say, thanks for risking your safety to look for me you two, you didn't have to do that, you know" 

Squigly: "Oh! You don't have to apologize! Of course I'd try and look for you, you're my friend, I'm just glad you're ok!"

Leviathan: "I too am glad you're in good health Mr. L/n, after everything you've done for us, It wouldn't've felt right if we left you to your fate after being taken by those dreadful Medici monsters"

Squigly: "Exactly! But you know... when we finally met up again, only for you to send me and Leviathan away again, I was scared that you'd die, and if you died not only would I lose a friend, I would've too" 

Squigly looked down as they kept walking before she was snapped from her thoughts by Y/n wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her into a hug, earning a small squeak of surprise from the undead girl as they had both stopped walking and Leviathan stayed silent, unsure of what to say right now 

Y/n: "Hey now, don't think like that, I can give you my word that there is no way I'll be dying on you or anyone else, any time soon" 

Squigly: "Promise?"
