So Sophie kept her promise to professor Dumbledore, she hid it the best she could from Mason but also tried to learn the most she could. He himself too was trying to get her to join his side, only in his own way. He would continue asking her if she knew what side she was on, they talked more about their lycanthropy considering he had told her about his.
Another thing she had noticed was him and Draco were doing a lot of sneaking around only, they were never going to the same destination. She had followed them one day, Draco had gone right to the room of requirement and Mason often ventured off to the forbidden forest, not returning for hours.
She had considering confronting him about it but what good would that get her? Other then a whole lot of suspicion from her friend. That was another thing, friend. We're they truthfully friends? All three of them or were they both just pretending to have someone from the good side.
The end of the school year was nearing. June had began with sun and a lot of it. The natural hue from the sun covered the grounds accompanied by the fluorescent flowers. The Black Lake glistened all day silently and the birds were out from sunrise to sunset singing a beautiful tune to many students.
Care of magical creatures was definitely a bonus lesson considering you were outside for a full hour, that and herbology. The worst had to be divination, cooped up in a little attic for a full hour looking into crystal balls that show nothing in the scorching heat. Hermione, being the lucky one of the four dropped the subject in third year meaning whilst Harry, Ron and Sophie were all silently suffering she was quite enjoying her free period in the library.
Harry was unaware of the mission Sophie was on, working as a double agent against Greyback, sure if he knew he would have none of it, he would want Sophie as far away from danger as possible.
"That class gets ether crazier every day." Ron muttered as the three of them climbed down the stairs of the attic and into the usual school corridors.
"Lucky we don't have long till summer left then aren't you." Sophie smiled pacing down the corridor with a skip in her step.
"What are you two doing for summer anyway?" Ron asked stopping abruptly and facing the siblings. "Are you coming to ours or what?"
"Well im heading to the Dursleys as usual." Harry moaned grabbing his friend by the shoulder and continuing his walk down the hall. "Soph your more then welcome to join us but considering-
"My problem." Sophie finished quickly catching sight of Draco and Mason at the end of the corridor. "I was going to speak to Remus actually, see if i could stay with him your more then welcome to-
"Can't." Harry shrugged. "Dumbledore's orders, I must return home for summer."
"Then why doesn't Sophie?" Ron asked.
"Haven't a clue." The siblings shrugged together before stopping outside the entrance hall clearly seeing Masons wave. "See you guys in the common room."
So they parted; Sophie ventured down towards the Black Lake with Draco and Mason and Ron and Harry headed towards the Library to find Hermione.
"It's so warm." Sophie grunted throwing herself down onto the grass beside the lake, a large thick tree covering her in shade with its leafs.
"Your seventeen this year." Draco smiled sitting beside her, "how long now a month?"
"Well it's 20th June now so, a bit over a month and how about you." She smiled leaning back onto her elbows. "How does it feel being a seventeen years old, you of age." Sophie laughed.
"Not much different considering we're still at school." Mason shrugged with a cheeky grin.
"Wait your seventeen too?" Sophie asked hovering her hand over her eyes to block to sun. "Since when?"
