Diagon Alley was a magical place, it was officially a new term as from tomorrow and Sophie still needed her school things, so she tagged along with the Weasleys, Harry and Hermione. They went to 'Flourish and Blotts' first to collect all their school books and Sophie insisted on getting her own journal. Next they went to 'Madam Malkin's' for robes, Sophie had to get plain ones as she hadn't been sorted yet.

"Just try not to get sorted into Slytherin." Ron said as they left the shop.

"What's so bad about Slytherin?" Sophie asked.

"There's not a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin." The twins muttered mimicking their little brother.

Next they went to the 'Magical Menagerie' because Sophie insisted on getting and Owl, ever since she met Hedwig, Harry's owl she wanted one of her own. So when they entered the shop she was looking at every single Owl as excited as a child would be on Christmas.

"Alright calm down child." Fred sniggered as he watched the girl run circles around cages.

"Shut up Fredrick." Sophie laughed.

"Haha she called you Fredrick." George cackled.

"Shush George just pick one already Soph." Fred retorted.

And she did. She picked a small, black barn owl with white speckles dotted all over. It had a soft white stomach and a fluffy black hood with the most beautiful dark eyes. Sophie swore if you stared into them long enough you would surely get lost, but they were magical.

"What you gonna call her Soph?" Ginny asked as they took a seat outside of 'Florean  Fortescues's' Ice cream parlor.

"Layla" She smiled petting the owl.

Fred and George sat across from Sophia and Ginny while Harry and Hermione sat beside Soph and Ron beside Ginny. "Why Layla?" Harry asked.

Without taking her eyes away from the owl. "Because Layla in Egyptian terms means Dark Beauty" Sophia answered. "And she is beautiful."

After an hours break and the sun began to set, they decided they should leave but that was Sophie's idea and Harry knew better. "One last shop." He said.

"Erm really? No i think we're all done." Sophia mumbled checking over the list of supplies.

"Nope." Harry shook his head skimming the note with his finger and stopping above one word. "You need to get you wand."

Sophie didn't know why she was afraid to get her wand, but she was. Ever since that night where she had one held against her she didn't want to have that power over someone. She shut the idea of having her own out, she didn't like the idea of it being a weapon. But Harry was right, she did need one. Every witch and wizard needed one and she did need to know how to defend herself, after all news had gotten about about her being a Potter. It was in every single paper any of them had read the past week.

So they ventured to the bottom of the 'Alley' and found themselves outside of a large shop with two circular windows and big golden writing on the top that read.

'Olivanders makers of fine wands since 382bc Olivanders'

They decided that seven was a bit too much to enter a shop for one person's need so while Hermione and the rest of the Weasleys went back to the burrow Harry and Sophie entered the old store.

"Ahh Mr Potter back again?" An old man cooed as he made his way to the front of his desk. "And Miss Potter i see, I've been waiting for you ever since i saw the news, quite famous are we." He chuckled. "Just like your brother here was three years ago, and still is."

This is exactly what Sophie didn't want to happen, she didn't want to be known, she didn't want to be like Harry, god i recon Harry didn't even want to be like himself. She wanted to get her wand and go home.

"Yes Mr Olivander." Harry smiled. "We're here to get Sophie a wand."

"Oh yes yes let me see here." The man said again before retreating behind his desk once more. "Here we go." He smiled handing Sophie a long brown vined wand.

Sophie held the wand firmly in her hand looking from Harry to the wood. He nodded slightly and she flicked it around until a smash was heard. A vase had exploded.

"Nope, nope." Mr Olivander cooed. "Let's try this." He handed her a simple brown wand with a circle ring around the bottom.

Wand after wand there was no hope. She had tried at least six by now and non of them were right for her. She was on the edge of just walking out.

"Right, this one." The man said handing her an old looking wand.

As soon as she held it up she felt a rush of warmth circulate through her body. Making it seem like butterflies were exploding in her stomach. She had goose bumps on every inch of her body and a large smile plastered over her face. This was the one.

Harry and Sophie had long been back at the Burrow, she had her packed trunk waiting with everyone else's near the fireplace while her owl was in her room with her wand which was tucked away in one of Ginny's drawers.

"Are you playing Soph?" Fred asked.

Sophie closed the book she was reading and looked up to see Fred and George dressed in red, sport like uniforms with brooms in hand and large smirks on their faces. "Playing what?" She asked.

"Quidditch!" They yelled together.

Sophia was just there hovering. She argued for a while saying if Hermione doesn't have to play then nether does she but at the end of it Fred just picked her up and put her on a broom. So technically she was playing but she was actually just observing while keeping the title of 'keeper' on her. Her job was to block the Quaffle from entering her teams post,  which was quite easy because the Weasleys only had one post for each team.

"Oi Potter keep your eye on the Quaffle!" Fred laughed. He was a beater while his brother played seeker because there was only three people per team. So it was Fred George and Sophie versus Harry, Ron and Ginny.

"Im sorry Fred maybe we should swap!" Sophie laughed. "We're winning aren't we."

"Not for long." Harry sang as he flew past the girl marking her post nearly knocking her off her broom.

"Harry!"

So yes Sophie's team won. They scored their 60 and an added 150 for catching the snitch while Harry's team only scored 70 if they were to catch the snitch they would have won but when Fred sent the 'Bludger' aka apple at Harry's head he dodged and George caught the snitch, aka jinxed apple.

"We won!" Sophie George and Fred chanted as they carried the girl above their shoulders. "We won! We won!"

"Okay okay don't rub it in." Ron huffed. "It's only because Fred was violent."

"Oh don't be a sore loser Ronald." Sophie joked, jumping from the twins shoulders and ruffling his hair.

"I'm not a sore loser, you guys are just cheaters." He moaned.

"Whatever." Sophie sang running back into the Burrow.
