"Thank you for taking me home yourself, Mr. Jeon," Jung-nam says quietly. "I feel a lot more at ease with you doing it, but I feel bad for taking you away from your work. You're a busy man."

I shake my head. "Asp!re is my priority right now. You all want to debut so badly, I can see it. But I don't want to rush things."

Jung-nam bites his lip. "Are you sure we're good enough to be the first group from scratch to debut under you?"

"Yes, I'm sure." I pat his shoulder. "Your group is perfect. You're proud to be part of it, right?"

He blushes and plays with his purple hair. "I am. All the members take such good care of me and they don't make fun of me when I'm homesick. I'm thankful that you believe so much in me. Being a main dancer and the lead vocalist when I'm the youngest feels like a big responsibility."

"You have what it takes."

"Thank you. The members help me a lot. But I'm scared that me being an alpha may change things. I like the way the members treat me now. I don't want them to be nervous and I don't want to make Ki-moon sick again."

I frown. "Jung-nam, that won't happen. When you thought you were a beta, did you have a problem with Ki-moon being the leader?"

He blushes. "No. He's the best leader." He fiddles with his hands and covers his face.

I chuckle lightly. "Do you have a crush on him?"

"N-No." He scowls. "That'd be unprofessional."

"Nowhere in your contracts did it say you couldn't date, Jung-nam."

He pouts. "Well, I can't date him because I'm too young."

I nod. "That is true. Maybe when you're eighteen."

Jung-nam glares at the road. "He could already be mated by then."

"He'll only be twenty-one, Jung-nam. I'm twenty-three and I don't have a mate."

He blinks, confused. "Was Park Jimin not your omega?"

I nearly swerve off the road. "No, Jung-nam, he is just my assistant."

"Oh, I thought because you let him touch you and stuff that you were at least dating."

"No. He was overwhelmed by your rut since he's unmated, so I let him hold onto me for support. But I guess that just further proves that Ki-moon might be single and open to pursue a relationship with you when you're eighteen. Mr. Park is twenty-eight and he's unmated."

Jung-nam's jaw drops. "Twenty-eight? Unmated? Him? How? He's so pretty and doesn't look that old at all. He looks like he could be younger than you. How is he not mated?"

I roll my eyes. "You sure do have a thing for older guys, don't you?"

"Well, if he's on the table~" His eyes glow red mischievously.

Mine glow red teasingly. "You aren't at the age of consent, kid. You're just now going through alpha puberty. Stay in your lane."

He blushes. "I'm not cut out to be an alpha." He covers his face.

I laugh. "There is no one way to be an alpha, beta, or omega, Jung-nam. Just be yourself."

"Okay." His eyes light up once we turn down onto his street. "Home!"

"Cute," I chuckle, parking in his driveway. "Hurry up. Your family has probably missed you."

He smiles widely and unbuckles his seat belt in a frenzy. "Thank you, Mr. Jeon!"
