Jimin is surprisingly good at spending money on art supplies. For tonight's 'art night,' the craft that we're supposed to be making with the boys is a dream catcher. Being at the art store brought the biggest smile to the blond's face. He skipped around while I pushed the cart, watching him pile materials into it. Not wanting to let him or the boys down, I simply let him add everything he wants since it's all going towards a good cause—the boys' wellbeing.
"I'm so exciteeeeed~" The blond sings, waving his small hands around. "This is going to be so fuuuuuuun, Kookie!"
I chuckle at his antics. "You better be excited if you dragged me around that craft store for almost two hours."
"Time flies when you're having fun. Live a little, Koo."
Rolling my eyes, I pull into the parking for the dorms. "As long as you enjoyed it. Hopefully the boys will have fun too."
Jimin points at me. "You better have fun, young man. The boys have been wanting you to join us, so you better make the most of tonight."
"Yes, boss." I scoff. I get out of the car after him and unlock the trunk.
The blond gathers up as many bags as he can so we'll only have to take one trip and I laugh at him.
"I can carry some too."
"What an alpha."
"Shut up." I flick his forehead and grab the remainder of the bags and shut the trunk. I lead the way and we're let into the dorms easily. As soon as I open the door, five teen boys run over to greet me.
Jung-nam's big, innocent eyes widen even further and he smiles. "Mr. Jeon! We didn't know you were coming!"
Jimin closes the door and hugs the boys. "Surprise! Mr. Jeon is joining us for art night. Aren't you excited?"
I watch the boys interact with Jimin so naturally. He really is good with kids. Jimin definitely deserves to have children of his own. I just wish he didn't feel so in a rush to do it. Yeah, it's harder to get pregnant from thirty onwards, but it's not impossible. Being so in a rush could result in him getting hurt.
Ki-moon has everyone line up and they bow in unison, greeting us. I laugh at the formality and ruffle Ki-moon's light brown hair. He's changed a lot since I met him and I'm glad he's confident enough to be the leader.
Dae-ho and Ki-moon help us set up the art supplies while Jung-nam, Nam-gi, and Yong-gi clear space for us to work.
"Jin left to get us pizza." Jung-nam bounces, picking the seat between Ki-moon and Nam-gi. His purple hair is a mess, but the only one who seems to care is Ki-moon, the brunet combing his fingers through his younger's hair in an attempt to make it presentable.
Jimin grins. "Ooooh, how exciting. Crafts and pizza. What else could you want in life?"
"A nap," Dae-ho laughs on the other side of Ki-moon.
"What a cat," Yong-gi teases him.
Dae-ho's catlike eyes focus on the middle kid of the group and he puffs his cheeks out. "I'm not a cat."
Jimin laughs at the five boys all interacting, seeming right at home. "So, for tonight, we're going to create dream catchers. With you all working so hard on debuting, you deserve only the sweetest of dreams. That is why we're making them. Do you all have fears or insecurities that you want to rid yourself of?"
The table goes silent as five sets of eyes look between one another, wondering who will be the first one to speak.
"I do," Ki-moon volunteers, playing with his hair bashfully. "I'm scared that I don't have what it takes to be a leader or a part of a family dynamic like this."
