when I got of shift it was 7am I drove to bucks and quietly open the door. The apartment was dark. I walk up the stairs and over to his bed
"morning" he mumbled grinning at me
"morning Bucky how are you feeling" I say as he moves to the other side of the bed and I sit on the edge
"I'm ok I guess" he smiles
"do you want to take a shower and put some of my clothes on ... only if you want" he smiles
"yeah please" I say placing a kiss on his head and heading into the bathroom. I don't know how long I was In the shower for I enjoyed the hot water especially after the shift we had I miss buck being on the team with us its not the same. I turned of the water and got changed
"buck" I said when I left the bathroom
" yeah" he said appearing from his closet in a different set of clothes
"you look good in my clothes" he smiled
"they are comfy" I laugh
" come here" I say hugging him tightly
"are you ready" I say resting my head on his
"yeah" he says pulling away
"one more thing" I smile before grasping his jumper and pulling him in are lips smashing together
"ok now I'm ready" he says giggling when we pull away
"lets go" I smile as I bounce down the stairs
eddies pov
"so today I brought uno and I brought these which are really cool" I smile holding 2 movies revolving around firefighting
"yess I love it" he smiles
"ok lets get you started" the nurse says walking in
"oo I really want to draw" buck says laughing like a kid as the nurse starts the fluids
"ok I can go get you paper" I smile
"no I can get it you two get comfy" the nurse smiles before walking out I put the first movie on
"can we sit on the beanbags" he laughed yes we can I smiled towards him helping him of the bed and onto the beanbags
"here we are" I grinned as I sat next to him placing the bucket on the floor
"ok I have some pens and paper" the nurse said bringing them over and putting them in-front of us
"you two have a good day" she smiled before walking out
"so I was thinking this is my room but its a little boring so lets draw and decorate it" he smiled "yes that is a good idea"I grinned we spent all day drawing pictures and taking photos of each other and laughing. He had a really good day today
"ok only a hour left" I smile after 4 hours of messing around
"I'm going to stick these up" I say as I pin are drawings all over the walls
"I have to make a call I will be back in a second" I say leaving buck laying in the bean bag finishing the last film I walk in the hallway watching buck through the window
"bobby can you do me a favour" I say when he answers the phone
"yeah is everything ok" bobby almost shouts down the phone
"no everything fine he's having a good day but his hospital room is so depressing can you and Athena maybe if you have time get some lights and maybe print pictures of us all off if its no trouble" I say
"of course Eddie hens here too she's going to help also . Send me your fave pics with buck and I will get other people to send me there's and I will Bring them all by with pizza in about 20 mins" he says I can tell he's smiling through the phone
" ok thank you so much" I grin walking back into buck as nothing happened
"what was that" buck grinned
"your going to have some visitors soon" I smile.
"buck" a voice rings in the corridor
"bobby" buck smiles getting up from the bean bag with my help
"we brought gifts" hen says gliding into the room lighting up bucks face
"hen" he smiled as she walks over hugging him
"so presents" buck says making everyone laugh. we spent time hanging lights and putting up a lot of pictures that bobby had printed off and looking around the room the place seemed a lot nicer than it was

"ok so pizza" bobby says as Athena walks through the door with pizza boxes
"todays been a good day" buck says rubbing his hands together. we sat round and ate pizza
"ok mr Buckley your done for the day" the nurse say taking the tubes out
"oh you have a slight fever hold on a moment" the nurse says before walking out
"is that bad" buck says turning to me
"its going to be ok" I say grabbing his hand
"ok we want to keep you over night just for observation its going to be ok" the nurse smiles before walking out
"we have to head home but everything's going to be ok buck .. see you soon" bobby says patting his shoulder
"ok kiddo keep fighting for me" Athena says kissing the top of his head and hen follows them out
"bye buckaroo" she smiles
"just the two of us" I grin laying on the bed with him. I check the time and it isn't too late its only around 2:30 in the afternoon and the day starts catching up to me as I realise how little sleep I had with being on shift last night and my eyes drift shut.
