(Madilyn's POV)
I sat at my desk in my room working on a hat when I heard a knock on my door. I walked over and opened it to see Ben.
"Hey!" I said smiling
"Hey I just wanted to make sure you were getting settled in alright" he said
"Yeah! This place is amazing!!" I said
"Well I'm glad you like it" Ben said. We just kinda stood there staring at each other for a little bit
"Um....is there anything else?" I asked breaking the silence
"Oh no. Um sorry I guess I'll leave. Unless you wanted me to give a more detailed tour?" He said
"Um sure" I said before he moved out of the way so I could exit the room closing the door behind me. "Lead the way soon to be king" I said remembering what Audrey had said earlier. He chuckled before he started walking. We went to the library, cafeteria, a couple classrooms, the tourney field etc. We talked the entire time and I was definitely beginning to like it here already. I knew that I couldn't be here for long knowing that the others were gonna let their parents out so they could destroy Auradon but I enjoyed this while I could.
"So where did you get that hat?" Ben said snapping me out of my thoughts
"Oh I made it!" I said happily
"Really?" He said shocked and I just nodded "wow"
"What you think people on the Isle can't make stuff this good" I said confidently
"No it's just it looks really cool" he said and I smiled at him
"Um we should probably get back it's almost curfew right?" I said looking at him
"Right yeah" he said before we started walking back to my dorm. Once we got there we stopped.
"Well this is my stop" I said looking at Ben
"Yeah um I'll see you tomorrow at school" he said smiling
"Yeah. Goodnight" I said opening my door
"Night" he said before I went into my room closing the door behind me. As soon as I closed the door I leaned my back on the door sighing. I looked over to the hat I was making earlier and walked over to finish it.
