Love potion

(3rd POV)
"I think it's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend. And I need a love spell" Mal said before Carlos tosses her spell book to her.
"But wait none of us have really talked to Ben that much. No ones gonna believe if he randomly falls in love with one of us" Evie said
"You're right" Mal said before she started thinking.
"So we just need to get closer to him" Jay said
"Or get someone who's already close to him" Mal said smirking
"But none of the kids here are gonna help us steal the wand" Carlos said
"Are you all forgetting that five of us got invited here?" Mal said "Madi is getting quite close to the soon to be king. And she wants to get her dad of the Isle so she should want to help" she finished
"Perfect!" Evie said standing up. The four walked out of the room and went down the hall opening Madilyn's door.
"Hey guys" Madilyn said while hot gluing something to a hat
"Hey Madi you wanna get your dad of the Isle right?" Mal said as Carlos shut the door
"Yeah?" She said looking up
"We need your help. We're going to spell the prince into falling in love with one of us so we can get close to the wand on the coronation day but none of us are close enough to him to make it believable. So we need you to be the one he falls in love with" Mal explained
"Okay" Madilyn said plainly
"Really? That was easy" Jay said
Madilyn shrugged as the five left walking towards the kitchen.

(Madilyn's POV)
Mal was mixing up the batter, Evie stood next to her while me, Jay and Carlos sat on the counter next to them.
"It says we need one tear and I never cry" Mal said reading from her spell book
"Easy let's just chop up some onions" Carlos said picking up an onion
"No it says we need one tear of human sadness, and this love spell gets the best reviews so we need to follow it exactly" Mal said
"A tears a tear" Jay said
"That's not true Jay both have antibodies and enzymes but an emotional tear has more protein based hormones than an emotional tear" Evie said and I looked at her
"Listen to you" Mal nudged her
"Science geek" I giggled jumping off the counter and standing next to Evie
"Am not" Evie said
"Yeah I knew that" Jay said
"No you didn't" Carlos said
Soon the door opened to reveal Lonnie daughter of Mulan. Mal grabbed a napkin putting it over her spell book so Lonnie wouldn't see it.
"There you are Mal. I've been looking for you everywhere. You know all the girls want you to do their hair" Lonnie said. I assumed she was doing this as a plan to get FG's wand "midnight snack? Whatcha making?" Lonnie said looking at the batter
"Nothing special" Mal said
"Just cookies" I said before Lonnie dipped her finger in the batter
"Oh no!" Mal said trying to stop her but she licked the batter off her finger
"What I'm not gonna double dip" Lonnie said
"Do you feel anything?" Evie asked
"Yeah like maybe it might be missing something?" Mal asked
"Hey there" Jay said in a flirty tone
"Could use some chips" Lonnie said ignoring Jay and walking over to the fridge
"And those are?" Mal asked
"Chocolate Chips duh" I said grabbing some from the bowl that Lonnie walked over with and ate them.
"Just the most important food group. Wait Didn't your moms ever make you guys, like, chocolate chip cookies? Like, when you're feeling sad and they're fresh out of the oven with a big old glass of milk, and she makes you laugh and just puts everything into perspective" Lonnie said and the other four looked at her like she was crazy "why are you all looking at me like that" she asked when she noticed them staring at her
"It's just different where we're from" Mal said and I looked at her sadly I never had the thought that the others parents weren't as good as mine.
"Well yeah I know. I just thought...even villains love their kids" Lonnie said as the others looked at her sadly "oh how awful" She said putting her hand on Mal's to comfort her
Mal saw a tear fall from Lonnies eye and she wiped it quickly flicking it into the bowl.
"Yeah, well, big bummer, but we've got to get these in the oven. Thank you for stopping by. Really, really have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow. Evil dreams" Mal said pushing Lonnie out the door
"Goodnight!" Lonnie said
Mal shut the door before turning back to us.
"Alright, Boys cookie sheet, Evie oven" Mal said
"Yes ma'am" Evie said going to turn on the oven
I stared at the five moving around the kitchen and just frowned at the thought that their parents were so bad. I felt bad for them.
