(Madilyn's POV)
Me and the other four VK's sat at a picnic table barley even touching our food. We heard someone walk to us.
"Hey,guys" Ben said "how is everyone?" He asked but no one answered "hey, listen. Forget about it. Let it go. Tomorrow after the coronation, I promise everything will be okay" Ben said and I looked down at my food "I have to go" he said leaning towards me "I'll see you later guys" he said before walking away
"Listen Evie, I wanna talk about earlier today. I just" Doug started
"Doug!" Chad said
"It's my fault Doug. I'm sorry" Evie said
"No, it's mine" he said.
"Doug!" Chad yelled
"What?" Doug turned back to Chad
"Doug..." Evie started
"Sorry, I can't" Doug said sitting down. Evie pushed her tray away from her.
"How long do you think that's gonna last? Madilyn's just the bad girl infatuation" Audrey said from behind us
"Yeah he's never gonna make a mad person a queen" Jane chimed in. I was about to get up when Mal stopped me.
"Beware foreswear undo Janes hair" Mal said flicking her fingers. Me and Mal stood up
"There's a lot more where that came from" Mal said
"Excuse me, who do you think you are?" Audrey said
"Do I look like I'm kidding?" She said before she started flipping through her spell book and everyone ran. We both turned towards the others
"I'm really looking forward to tomorrow" I said and they all looked at me "let's grab that wand and blow this popsicle stand" I finished before we all walked away from the picnic area.
