(Madilyn's POV)
I walked over to my locker which was right next to Mal's who was right next to Evie's. I opened mine up and noticed Mal spray painted her mother's silhouette on her locker with the words long live evil. I put my books into my locker. I started to overhear a conversation a little bit away.
"Those kids are trouble" I heard chad say for someone who was Prince Charming's son he wasn't very charming...
"Bye Mal, Bye Mads" Evie said before leaving
"Bye" Mal said
"Come on Chad. Give them a chance" Ben said and I smiled to myself.
"No offense Bennybear. But you're just too trusting. Look, I know your mom fell in love with a big nasty beast who turned out to be a prince. But with my mom the evil Fairy was just the evil fairy. That girls mom" Audrey said obviously talking about Mal.
"I think you're wrong about them. I'll see you later" Ben said. Me and Mal both closed are lockers at the same time and behind mine Ben was leaning on the one next to it.
"Hey" He said
"Hey" I said back with a small smile
"How's was you first day?" He asked smiling at the two of us
"Super" Mal said sarcastically. Then Ben spotted the spray paint on Mals locker
"You should really think about taking this talent off the lockers and into art class. I could sign you up" Ben said looking at Mal. Just then Jane walked by and went into the bathroom Mals eyes following her as she past
"Way to take all the fun out of it" Mal said before walking to the bathroom.
"Huh" Ben said
"Well" I said before leaning on my locker "this is awkward" I said not looking at Ben
"Oh hey do you wanna do something?" He said turning to look at me
"Like what?" I asked
"We could go get some ice cream or-" Ben said looking at his watch "oh I have a fitting in five minutes I am so sorry" he said quickly
"No no that's fine I'll probably just go make some hats in my room" I said smiling
"Ok I'm hey maybe we can go later. Yeah?" He said and I just nodded before we parted ways.
I walked into my room and put some headphones on and listened to music while making a hat.
