Tanaka sat next to the cage and read the Devas a bedtime story until he heard a knock on his dorm door.
"Gundham... Are you there?" A voice asked.
"..." He cleared his throat and replied, "yes, I am indeed in my dark realm, what could you need?"
"... Uhm... Everyone else is asleep and... I-I kinda got a nightmare..."
"A nightmare...?" He opened the door and saw a pink haired boy in front of his door, "Ah... Kazuichi..."
"..."
He cleared his throat again and hid in his scarf, "would you be delighted to stay for a whi-"
"... No... I-I was wondering if I could stay here for the night..." Souda murmured.
"... Oh...? Of course, as long as your comfortable..." He grabbed Kazuichis blanket from his hands and placed it on his bed.
"Since you had a horrific dream, I am assuming you would wish to sleep next to me, correct?" He asked.
"... Mhm"
He grabbed Kazuichis hand and tucked him in the bed.
"..."
Souda whined and grabbed Tanakas wrists.
"Yes? What is it Kazuichi?"
".. Can you read me a-..." He paused and felt his face redden, "... Uhm... A s-story..."
"Ah.. I was just reading my Devas one" He chuckled, getting the book off the cage and getting on the bed next to Kazuichi, who was hiding in his blanket, huddling close to Gundham.
"..."
Souda yawned and hugged Tanakas waist, his head resting on his lap.
"...Kazuichi...?"
"..."
Kazuichis breath was hitting Tanakas pants, huddling his face closer to his thighs.
"Eh... K- kazuichi... Your-..."
"Mngh... I just want to sleep here Gundham..." He whined, spreading Tanakas thighs and resting his head inbetween.
Gundham just stared at him and started stroking his hair, "..."
"Ergh?!"
Tanaka stared at the sleeping figure and blushed, Souda was drooling on his thigh, huddling closer to him.
He just patted his head and rested his back against the bed frame.
"... Good night..."
