I don't own Percy Jackson, only the things I create and make up. Rick Riordan owns the rest.

Side-Chapter 2 – Part C – They Aren't Very Observant, Are They?

Percy's POV

Time skip thirty-five minutes

"Everything seems better now." Zencor finally breaks the silence. "Put your uniform back on. Pull your hood up. We should leave now. It is best to come to these meeting early."

I do as I'm told, asking a question I have, "If I am not to be seen while I'm being trained for at least a week, how do I get around the castle unseen?"

They both seem to feel like face palming or something, but they don't.

"Each of our uniforms are built in with a few things. For the entire army, besides the leaders, they are able to camouflage into their surroundings. Army Leaders and Assassins have an upgrade from that though. Our uniforms give us the ability to be fully invisible, but that doesn't stop another from detecting us. We need to work on stealth in training and when walking around. You will most probably get included into the telepathic link between all the Assassins, Army Leaders and Primordials today. It is normally established when all are met for the first time or when you are examined to see your skill in the training room." Culver tells me.

"Makes sense. Should I use this to walk around now?"

"Yes."

"How do I activate it? And wouldn't it have been a good idea to have told me of this feature before? To not be seen?"

"It probably just slipped their minds when having you come here." Zencor tells me, putting the last of the things away.

"You will learn how to use the uniform with help from Eros and myself." I nod to Culver's words – they make sense as it was Eros who created it. "To become invisible, you will see a belt at your waist. On it is a light grey button that you press. But don't press it yet. The button is about intent. You need to think of what you want happening for it to happen, envision yourself turning invisible. This is because it does more than just make the wearer invisible – it will all be explained when we go through it with you. Also, when you press the button, make sure that you envision any Assassins of the Primordials, Army Leaders and all of the Primordials being able to see you. This way, to us, we will see you as an outline while all others won't be able to see you."

I raise an eyebrow slightly, impressed with this feature in the suits.

Doing as instructed, I press the light grey button on the belt – after asking which of the five it was. It really isn't a good idea to say to press a button without telling someone which one it is. The button I press is to my left hip-bone, positioned there. I'm told that the one directly opposite – the right hip-bone – is what I can do to have the uniform put itself into the bead. I can also just will it off, but pressing the button is apparently faster. I'm not sure how, but I'm trusting his word now. And I am also told that only I or another with permission can have the uniform shrink into the bead.

In the blink of an eye, in mere seconds, I can sense it. A type of magic, sentient almost, that washes over me. Leaving me gapping as I can tell I'm invisible, though only invisible to those I don't want to see me. Unless I make my presence known while invisible.

"Follow us. Don't speak as if we pass another, they will realise that there is someone with us. We do not want them figuring out about you, not yet." Culver tells me and I nod.

The door is opened, we walk through, it being closed behind us with Zencor making sure it is closed properly – apparently if it isn't closed properly, others can get in without needing the specific code. It has apparently happened once before, trillions of years ago, and the results were not good seeing as the one that got in was a spy.
