Percy's POV

Time skip

The first thing that pops into my mind when I start to gain consciousness, once again, is...

How long have I been in a coma?

I don't have an answer. When I can't think of an answer, I begin thinking about my current state I'm in.

My body feels dead, I can't even twitch my finger, not that I'm willing to try. I feel exhausted, even though I know that I've rested for at least a few weeks. I feel like falling asleep again, but at the same time I don't want to.

Ohh, I also have a very large problem as well...

Void told me that I'll be in the coma because of pain. You would have thought that because I'm awake now, the pain would be gone. NOPE! The pain is still there.

It's similar to the pain that I'm in when my Fatal Flaw is acting up, but worse. To put it simply, it's like my whole body is on fire, Greek Fire. It feels like fire is running through my veins and turning my bones to a gooey ash or something. The pain is so great, that every other time I have gained consciousness I just fall unconscious again. Not this time.

The bad thing about this pain, is that even a twitch of the fingers increases the pain I'm in.

It seems like I'm not falling back asleep for a while.

When I come to that conclusion, I realise that I need to do something. I start thinking, and I can't think of anything.

I force myself to open my eyes that seem to be glued shut. It takes a lot of effort and time, more than I thought that it would. It's taken at least a minute.

When my eyes FINALLY blink open, I immediately shut them.

IT'S WAY TOO BRIGHT!

I saw a few things though. The room was golden, most probably made of gold. That would mean Apollo. So, I'm either in Apollo's infirmary or his large palace, although, I do believe that they are both connected. I saw a black cord out of the corner of my eyes near my hand, and I know what that is. It's something that Chaos has on his planet, all you need to do is pull on it, and Chaos would be alerted. I glimpsed some light directed towards me, what didn't help.

My attention goes back to thinking about the cord. I can't pull on it, as any movement hurts. I literally can't even move a finger towards it, as the pain I'm in increases.

Okay, so that's out of the option. Maybe I could try to call out? No. that would require me to open my mouth and talk, what I don't believe would be good to try. That's also out of the option. Maybe I could try to roll towards the cord? I wince just imagining that. I would most probably fall out of the bed.

Why can't my brain just work properly, it's coming up with all these weird ideas that would hurt me even more. Wait... why didn't I think of that before? My brain isn't hurting and in pain... I think! I should have come up with this first.

Would it work though. I try to feel out the area, trying to see around the room using my powers without moving. I can feel where everything is. Okay, good, this doesn't hurt. I sense, feel my way out of the room and into the corridor. No one. I then start to 'feel' outside the building and into other temples.

Yes, this is Olympus. I quickly try to think of where the most people would probably be. The Throne Room I believe. I 'feel' my way into the Throne Room. I quickly realise that doing this is making me more tired, the further away I 'feel'.
