Percy's POV

I quietly sigh. Again. I tap my fingers on the sheets of the bed. Luckily, I can move easier without being in so much pain.
I'm bored though. I just lay here day after day. If a topic is talked about, we probably exhaust it after talking about it for the 20th time or something.
The light in the room is normal, so there aren't any shadows blocking it out.
"You are bored." Athena notes.
"Obviously." I roll my eyes. "There is nothing to do. And my ADHD is acting up, badly. I can't stay still. I've been still in this bed for over 5 years now. I cannot stay in this bed for a moment longer."
"You know what is said." Athena replies. "You need to stay laying down. At least until you are well enough to get up. And even then, you will have to be careful."
"I know. I know." I say before my eyes gain a glint – judging by her sigh – as I get an idea.
"Whatever your idea is, the answer is no." Athena says.
"It is good though. And I will still be laying down."
"No!"
I pout and give her my seal eyes, as people call them.
"The answer is still no." She says with an eye roll. "Iris, connect me to Hestia please."
An immortal doesn't need to give Iris any drachmas to connect, only those with mortal blood – so demigods, demi-titans and demi-primordials or any mortals in the know. An Iris message appears in front of her. On the other side, is Hestia.
"Athena? Is something wrong?" Hestia asks.
"He has gotten an idea and is using the seal eyes on me. I don't want to be in here to be influenced by those eyes. You are one of those who can resist them. Can you look after him for a while?"
"Of cause." Hestia replies and waves her hands through the Iris Message.
A second later, she appears in a flash of fire as light doesn't affect me as much as my other senses now.
"Thank you." Athena tells her and walks to the door.
"I didn't even tell you what my idea was!" I call after her as she walks out.
Hestia pins me with an amused gaze.
"Try all you want Percy, but I will not let you leave the room or move off of that bed." Hestia vocalises. "I do not want you hurting yourself."
"But..."
"No buts. None at all."
I pout at her. She just raises an eyebrow in a challenging way. I pout but back down. I know that I can't win.
Not right now at least.

I look at Nico. He is currently reading a book from a series that I don't know the name of. Apparently, it is one that is really good and one that I should read. He sighs and marks the place he is up to.
