Chapter eight : ''An in-between event''

The SCP's seemed to have taken a big liking to the library. within minutes all the SCP's we're reading their chosen book and not even paying attention to the others around them. Techno found himself some Greek history books, to his surprise. To his knowledge none of the others asked for history books. He started reading the books and quickly lost track of time.

Wilbur and Phil enter the library, looking for their topiced books. Wilbur quickly lost Phil as he went off to find some of his books. He later stumbles across the history book aisle, seeing his Brother at the end of the hallway. He makes his way over towards Techno noticing he was fully consumed in his book.

Completely forgetting about Techno's reflexes, Wilbur goes upto behind him and touches his shoulder. This caused Techno's reflexes to come in, throwing Wilbur against one of the shelves. Phil heard this, since he was close to that aisle, he then realises that the noise were his sons. It seemed as nobody else noticed due to the other commotion in the library.

Phil quickly makes his way over to them, to see a broken shelf, a hurt Wilbur and an apologising Techno. Wilbur seemed to be slightly out of it, while Techno's worriedly apologising, almost showing actual emotions. Their father rushed to their side, taking Wilbur from Techno's shaking arms.

''I- It was my reflexes.. I'm- I'm so sorry Will''

''Techno, It wasn't your fault. I'm sure Wilbur just forgot about your reflexes.''

Little by little Techno calmed down and slowly stopped shaking, Wilbur on the other hand had lost consciousness due to his head hitting the plank of a shelf. ''Techno, go get one of the others to help us get your brother to the infirmary.''

''Someone! Someone please hel- help It-it's T-----! H-he's not waking up! I can't get him to wake up..!''

''--b--, What happened?''

''..Pl-please help T----...''

Tubbo ran into Ranboo's arms, trying to explain what happened but no full sentences came out of his mouth. Ant, Katelyn, Kai and Schlatt went towards where Tubbo came from, followed by Techno coming up behind the rest asking for help. Anna, Alex and Yorick went with Techno back to Phil and Wilbur.

''Karl, go with me and help me set up two infirmary beds, we're going to need to have it prepared.'' Amber said, going off with Karl to set everything up. Within 10 minutes almost all the scientists and the two injured SCP's were in the infirmary.

All the other SCP's were out in the hallway, since having them separated wasn't a thing any of the scientists wanted to do, also there weren't enough scientists to go separate them. Phil was still getting Techno to completely calm down, and the same went for Ranboo and Tubbo. Dream, George, Nick, Zak and Darryl were all in the corner, due to not having any involvement with this situation and Nick took this opportunity to mess with George and Dream about where they were and why George was blushing heavily. Grayson was just having a casual conversation with Eret, and Floris was practically yelling at Niki and Jack.

In the infirmary, Wilbur only just had a concussion and just fainted where as Tommy had burn wounds practically almost everywhere. After around an hour Wilbur woke up, got cleared and went outside to the rest of them. Before he left he saw a glimpse of Tommy, who was obviously still unconscious.

''..Hey, Phil? What happened with Tommy..?''

''I don't know, Will.''

After a few hours the chaos in the hallway stopped due to everyone falling asleep exhausted from the arguing and yelling. The next morning they were all shaken awake due to something happening in the infirmary. It was half an hour later before anyone on the outside got any information about the conditions inside.

''Tommy woke up, surprisingly. He's still on a lot of painkillers and falling in and out of consciousness. I'll be allowing Tubbo and his family in but the rest will be escorted back to their rooms.''

The next week was hard, especially on Toby. Tommy couldn't stay awake due to the pain for more than an hour, and then would proceed to fall back into unconsciousness. Though, as the week progressed he was able to be awake longer than he was before. After he week he fully woke up and was placed back into his own room while remaining to be under control all the time.

He was given visitors from all the SCP's, except Niki and Jack. Dream even paid a visit, it didn't last long. Niki and Jack were out in what they would call, ''isolation protection'', or IP for short. Normally SCP's would be put there if they had side effects from a recent code red they experienced. Though, due there not being one of those moments very often they are either used for Schlatt's drinking problems, or for these kind of actions.v

With Ranboo, the site's latest SCP, his first ability side effects were starting to show. Since he was part enderman (some tall purple-ish figure) he could sometimes go into something he likes to call ''Enderman Mode''. This meant that he would unconsciously go around and pick things up, placing them in spots they weren't supposed to be in.

Normally he wouldn't be allowed to leave his room but in this ''mode'' he has the ability to teleport around the site. Sometimes, he even ends up in Toby's room. They had grown a bond with each other, and even decided to platonically get married. Tommy wasn't very fond of this, so when he was told he went onto ranting about this to his father and siblings.

And, so that is what he did. When his family went and visited him and Toby wasn't around due to either being in the library or having his tests (that's what (s)he said) Tommy would rant about Toby and Ranboo being ''married''. This always ended up with his siblings laughing at him for being so clingy, while always saying Toby was the clingy one.

Then, those moments turned into a family bonding moment when Tommy would fall asleep while sitting with his brothers and them then playing with his hair being careful not to wake him up. They would then be allowed to stay until Tommy would wake up, or stay for the night.

So if any delay shows up, we're sorry and we are trying to balance this and school but due to obvious reasons our school is more important :D
