Chapter 20: ''The Ending For One''

With all the rooms switching, and getting familiar with their new surroundings everything went back to normal. Lizzy was the new kid when they got back to their normal doings. Though that didn't last long, due to the fact she met Tommy and Tubbo. Matching both of their energy, the three of them became a couple of kids with causing chaos as their hobby.

They set out to rule the site for as much as they could for fun. Especially if this meant fucking with Anna as much as they could. Yet they would be sure to keep the violence minimalized.

Tommy, on the other hand, did not agree with that part.

With every chance he got, he would cause a little violence, especially if it could be directed towards Clay. Obviously, Clay would get him back occasionally as expected.

With the three youngest ones being across the building, causing their usual chaos this time with Puffy, Clay, George and Nick, on the other side there was a slightly more serious topic being discussed. Amber and Phil found out that Anna knew something about the escaped SCP's from the breakout that happened a few years back.

Anna, knowing more about this topic than even HQ, got demanded by Amber to tell her trying to save her job before HQ found out she knew something they didn't. Phil on the other hand wasn't supposed to be here, yet he heard his wife being discussed and had to be involved.

''Okay and why didn't you decide this was something to share? Especially when this could get you fired?!'' Amber said, raising her voice.

''Because, Amber, I promised to not tell anything about this.'' Anna responded.

''Anna, they could be severely dangerous and your not telling because of some stupid promise?'' Amber responded back. The two of them went back and forth, every once in a while raising their voices at one another.

Phil, finally breaking this argument, came in clutch.

''Anna, you need to tell us about the ones that escaped.''

And so, she did.

''Firstly was Scott. He had cyan coloured hair, elf ears. His ability was being able to survive severely cold temperatures. He's able to do this due to some sort of magic he's capable of.''

''Secondly, were the twins. They possess mind control, and the ability to breath on land and underwater.''

''And the last two, Grian and Kristin. Phil, two familiar names I'm assuming?''

Phil nodded in response.

''Grian, Phil's cousin has parrot wings, like Mauve and Viridian.''

Anna stopped for a second, looking at Amber. ''Amber where even are the parrots..'' While Amber responded with a shocked face, not having seen them in months.

Anna continued, ''Grian also has the fighting skills like Techno, and is able to copy ones voice to the detail.''

''And as for Kristen, I have no clue what she's capable of. I haven't met the others. Though Phil might.. know Kristens abilities?'' Anna said in a slight asking voice.

Phil looked at her. ''Sadly, Kristen never fully explained what she was capable of so I cannot help you on those terms.''

Amber, who was now going through the files trying to find the corresponding files matching the ones named, was completely disconnected from the conversation that was now nearly finished. Finally finding the copies, she opened them on her desk only for them to reveal almost everything except the names blanko.

''Anna, how do you know those things? The files on them are all empty.''

An hour later, Phil was kicked out of the room while everyone else gathered around the door trying to listen in.

Amber had started an argument with Anna due to the fact that this could've gotten her fired, alongside of Amber due to her being the supervisor of the site.

When it finally silenced down, the door lock opened and all the others on the other side of the door scrambled out and away. Some falling over one another, some getting away peacefully and some falling over some boxes. As Anna left the room, a tear forming in her eye she saw the last few of them scramble off. Knowing what they were doing, it didn't bother her much.

That was of course until she passed the boxes and found Tubbo still laying there, cradling his arm as if it had gotten hurt during the fall. She kneeling down next to him, carefully grabbing his arm and investigating it looking for any signs of it being broken. And that's exactly what she found.

Pinging all the other doctors, only Puffy and Schlatt came rushing to Anna, taking him to infirmary. Though Schlatt had quite the struggle seeing Tubbo like that. Somehow, a buried underneath dad-mode came surfacing, desperately in need of making sure that he was okay.

A little later, Anna was in her room reading.

The silence being disrupted, Amber came in with a cardboard box. Placing it down in front of Anna, she saw what was inside. Her stuff. Her work. Her coat, and all her personal belongings from her office.

Amber now stepping away from her with tears in her eyes, started the conversation.

''Anna, you know I hate having to make this decision. But, for the sake of the site and the rest of our careers.. I have to let you go.'' She said, while holding back the tears.

Anna, nodding knowing this was bound to happen, didn't say a word.

''I did ever since we were young know that you were bound to have a secret, I just didn't know it would've had me fire you.'' Amber said, turning around and going towards the door. Looking back one last time, she said one last thing before leaving.

''Anna, You're expected to leave in an hour, and not allowed to step foot on the premises again. If you are not gone in an hour, I will call security.''

Amber did close the door behind her, leaving Anna alone. After exiting the room, she took one deep breath and headed out, signaling to HQ one had been fired and was in need of a new assistant.
