Shaken territory pt.2

Diana's POV

It's been 3 months since my ex called me, it's been a bit rough for me cause I felt like I should be alert, I felt like he was gonna come for me and Lia, I was a bit scared at first but as time passed I knew I shouldn't be worried cause I know he doesn't know where I live or that I have a family now, I don't know how he got my number but since that day he never called again.

right now i'm walking out of my office to go get Lia from the day care, I got in my car and went off.

I arrived and got out off the car, as I walked inside the kindergarten I went to Lia's class room but she wasn't there, I tried looking around but was in vain, before I started to panic I though that maybe her teacher took her to the bathroom, I waited for a bit before I saw Lia's teacher, I quickly walked up to her,

"Excuse me, hi katherine where's Lia?" I asked,

She frowned,

" oh she's at the playing ground with your boyfriend at the back, he told me that you agreed for him to come and pick her up but she started crying so he decided to take her to the back to play with her till you come" she said frowning curiously,

as she said that my heart dropped to the ground, I felt like I was about to pass out, I swear that Elijah was still at work at this time and if he decided to pick her up he would have told me, he always calls me when he clocks out of the station. I took off ignoring her stare and went straight to the back of the school where there was a play ground, to say I was scared was an understatement, I could literally hear my heart beat in my ears,

I stopped in my track at was I was looking at,

" oh hell no! not today satan!!" I said out loud,

my baby was on the floor playing with some toys and there was a man on his knees playing with her which was definitely not Elijah, the way i took off to get my baby away from the man shook me too, as soon as I reached where they where I snatched Lia from the floor and hugged her to my body, tears where about to fall from my eyes but I controlled them, It was not the time to cry I'll do that later.

I looked at the man and I stood there frozen, my eyes wild in realisation, it was Liam Walker the sperm donor of Amelia, I took a step back as he got up from the ground and smiled as he analyzed me, he looked the same but so different at the same time,

" hey Diana I missed you" he said softly,

" I'm sorry I didn't mean any harm by taking her to get to know my daughter" he said sounding sad, if I didn't know better I would have thought that he was genuinely sad, I eyed him bitterly,

" drop the act Liam how the hell did you know where I live and where my baby was going to school?" I asked accusinly,

" look Diana I came here in peace, I want you back that's all" he said trying to step closer to me,

I took a step back in defence glaring at him,

" that will never happen, now go back to where you're coming from and leave me alone don't ever come back" I said turning around quickly and rushed to get to my car, I placed Lia in the car as she cried,

" mama is so sorry baby, we're going home now baby you are safe" I said and kissed her forehead, I got in the car and went home with my heart beating hard, i felt anxious and scared, what the hell was happening?.

I reached home and took Lia out of the car, poor baby she cried herself to sleep .
I walked inside the house tired from what was going on, I went to my room and places Lia on the bed then afterwards I took off all my clothes and went to take a shower.
