All for good

Diana's POV

I woke up early as Elijah said I should do, the decision I made was the only option at hand, I thought of it hard enough, I need to start my own life by myself, Elijah has helped me a lot from the start, it's time I move to my new apartment which I'm very excited about, I can't wait to settle down in my new home.

I walked pass his room to see him on the balcony with a cup of coffee,
" morning!" I said smiling, he turned around smiling too,
"Morning I see someone is very happy " I laughed, then answered,
" yeah I'm excited to move in my apartment I can't wait to show you, I don't need to buy much stuff for the house because it's already all prepared, I payed a little extra but it was worth it all" he chuckled nodding then walked back inside and grabbed his jacket,
"Ok then let's get going" he said taking Amelia from me as we entered my back to my room, I already packed all my stuff, we just needed to put the in the truck and then we are set to go.

After a while we where done packing, Elijah the took Amelia to his car, I gave him a confused look,
"I can take Amelia to my car you know!" I said giggling, he turned around smiling,
"Nah I can take her, she wants to stay with me right pumpkin?" He said staring at Amelia as she started giggling throwing her hands and legs in the air, I laughed at that,
"Ok fine whatever make sure you're close to me so that you don't miss the road" I said getting into my car and drove off.

It took us 30 minutes to get there and fortunately Elijah's car was behind me. I came out of my car and went to his car to take my baby,
"Aww meli is sleeping"i said frowning,
"She'll wake up eventually to see the apartment" Elijah said laughing amused looking around the house,
"Mmhh I like this place" he said walking up to the front door, I followed behind him,
"Yeah I know right? I can't wait to show you the inside!!" I said excitedly, he looked and me smiling wildly, I took the keys from my pocket then opened the door, we walked inside and I squealed in excitement,
"Welcome to my new home" he looked around with approval and nodded his head in agreement,
"You definitely have a good taste of fashion maybe I'll hire you to come and renovate mine, I'm becoming jealous" he said laughing and walking around.

After I showed him all the apartment we started unloading my stuff and arranged them where I would like them to stay.
Afternoon approached and I ordered us pizza to eat after we were done arranging the house properly.
Evening came and Elijah asked is to spend the night at his place one last time, I agreed then we headed back to his house.

Elijah's POV

We headed back to my house after taking care of Diana's apartment, to say I was impressed was an understatement, I loved the style of the house everything about it but after all Diana is into fashion so I'm not surprised.
Today all along was a good day not to even talk about Diana she was so beautiful and looked carefree, more relaxed and excited for this day, when she came to my bedroom this morning I wanted to grab her and ravish her right there and then, every passing day I see something new on her that makes me want to have her all to myself but I can't do that right now, I don't want to ruin everything, I know I'm feeling something for her but I don't know yet what to think of it, everytime I see her I just want to kiss her and make her happy, but I'm wondering if it's just me being attracted to her or something more.

I got out of the car and headed inside, I followed Diana as she walks up to her room as i held little baby Amelia as she slept, it's astonishing to see her grown so much in a short period of time, she's beautiful just like her mother,
"Thank you Elijah for today I'm really happy and satisfied for what I achieved so far and it's all thanks to you" she said standing beside the bed with a lazy smile on her face,
" I really did nothing here you did and I'm proud of you for that" I said as I placed Amelia on the bed securing her. I stood there with a smiled staring at her, she came up to me and wrapped her hands around my neck, I lifted her up as she stood on her tip toes and wrapped her legs around my torso, she buried her head in the croak of my neck inhaling and exhaling softly as I did the same inhaling her addicting scent, she raised her head analizing me as if it was the first time she saw me, I was captivated by her mesmerizing dark eyes, I shifted my gaze to her plump lips, I wanted to kiss her so bad it's a torture,
"Elijah" she whispered, I snapped out of my trance to see that our faces where so close, there was such a small space between our lips, I hummed in acknowledgement still staring between her lips and eyes, she gulped,
"W-what are you doing ?" She still whispered,
"More like what I would like to do" I said and before she even thought of even saying anything I kissed her with hunger without holding back, she stiffened in shock but that didn't stop me I kept kissing her and slowly she melted and kissed me back, I groaned in satisfaction from how soft and intoxicating her lips were, I walked backwards till I reached the wall and turned pressing her against it, the kiss became heated as I roamed my hands on her smooth skin underneath her t shirt, she moaned out loud as she massaged my scalp and tugged on my hair, just as if that brought her back to reality she quickly pulled away from the kiss staring at me with shock as she loosened her grip on me catching her breath, she pushed me away immediately as if my skin was burning her,
" fuck! This was a mistake Elijah, it should have never happened" she said sitting on the bed covering her face with the palm of her hands agitated, I stood there and sighed,
" Diana look at-" I was cut of by her angry voice,
" no Elijah just leave please this was a mistake and it will never happen again" she said getting up from the bed walking to her bathroom,
"Diana just liste-"
" Elijah I said leave " she stared at me with tears in her eyes, I felt a pain in my chest, i clenched my jaw restraining myself from saying any other thing to make her upset or make her cry,
" ok I'll leave " I said lowly,  she turned around and slammed the door but not enough to wake Amelia up, I sighed before leaving the room going straight to mine stripping out of my clothes and entered the shower. I stood the staring at nothing in particular,
" fucking hell!" I said slamming my fist on the tiled wall of the shower, fuck she doesn't feel the same for me, she probably just sees me as a mere friend,  that's why she rejected me, it was my fault I caused this, I don't regret anything at all it's just that I didn't think she'll react like that, I sighed in aggravation getting out of the shower drying of and wearing my boxers before laying on my bed. Why the fuck is this affecting me so much I'm just attracted to her right?
I couldn't sleep all night because I was thinking of what happened hours ago.

Soon came morning, I blinked a few times and yawned, I didn't sleep much, I was worried thinking if she'll ever talk to me again, I got up and went to the bathroom doing my usual morning igiene, I got dressed in my uniform then headed down stairs, the house was really quiet, I looked at my watch to see that it was 5:39 am, usually Diana would be getting ready for work too. I reached the kitchen and I didn't see her as I thought, she probably doesn't want to see my face, I sighed walking back upstairs to see if she was still sleeping, I need to wake her up or she'll be late for her work, I knocked a few times but I didn't receive any response,  I opened the door and saw that the bed was nicely made and the room was neatly  arranged as if nobody was in the room for a long time,  I knew immediately what I had done,I drove her away, I know that she'll be staying at her apartment and she'll never come back here, she told me she'll leave some things just in case she'll come over, there was absolutely nothing in the room, all the clothes she left on purpose it's no longer there.
Why was she reacting like this?, I just kissed her, i don't think it was something so big to just react like that  I just don't understand.
