My Savior

Diana's POV

I unlocked my apartment door and got in, I was really exhausted from work and my pregnancy takes away my strength a lot.

I removed my shoes from my aching feet leaving it in the corner close to the door, I walked to my medium sized living room and carefully sat down on the couch, I'm on my last stage of pregnancy and my baby is killing me, I just have all the day to rest before I go back to work.

I'm a waitress at a diner, well I haven't been really been a waitress since I started, I've been only cleaning the diner since it wasn't a convenient situation to allow a pregnant woman work in a diner, at first people saw my little bump and they smiled but at a point I became bigger and people looked at me disgusted or with pity so I talked to my boss and he agreed on what I suggested, I just needed the money.
The pay is ok for me to pay my rent, pay the bills and to buy some things for my baby girl that would be coming soon into this world.
My money goes all to that, I buy enough food for myself and the baby nothing much, It was luck that I saw this apartment, it was the cheapest apartment I could afford.

I sighed got up and went across the corridor to my room, it was hot so I needed a shower and a well needed nap before I go back to work.

I came out of the bathroom that was attached to my room and went to my wardrobe and took out an oversized T shirt that looked like a gown on me and wore biker black shorts, I took my hair brush that was on top of my night stand and brushed through my strengthened hair and I put in a loose bun, I then layed down and tried to sleep.

"ahhhhh" I screamed as I felt my baby kick hard,

I opened my eyes and placed my hand on my big belly, 

"What was that for?" I said,

I rubbed my belly then again my baby kicked hard and I winced in pain, I slowly got up as my breath quickened, I stood up and then  felt liquid streaming down my legs, I looked down with eyes widened in fear,

" Oh my God I'm about to give birth" I said panicking,

I tired walking but it was hard because my contractions became stronger,

"Fuck!" I screamed as I cried in pain,

I needed to go to the hospital myself, I don't have anyone that can take me there, I cleared my mind and took deep breaths to calm my nerves. I took slow steps holding my belly for support,

"Please my baby don't come out now, just be ok for mama" I whispered reaching the living room and taking my car keys and phone leaving the house.

I opened my car as I winced in pain and sobbed, the pain was unbearable, I wiped my tears and started the car and drove as fast as I could, this was the most dangerous decision that I've ever made, I had no one to help me I was all alone,

"Oh my GODD!" I screamed as I held my belly.

That moment I didn't care if I broke the road rules I just needed to get to the hospital as fast as I could, I don't want to give birth in my car.

Drops of sweat cover my forehead, I felt like I was about to pass out from the intense pain, I was 5 km away from the hospital, I heard the sirens of the cops, I panicked and looked at the rearview mirror,

"No no not now please!!" I whispered, I winced in pain as i felt a contraction,

I looked around and looked for a place to park my car, I squeezed my eyes close trying to suppress the pain, the cops stop and I saw one of the officers coming my way, he was the most handsome officers I've ever seen, I looked at him dazed in my rearview mirror admiring him but then a strong contraction hit me, I couldn't hold it in so I screamed,
