POV: They lift your self esteem

Bang Chan:

- Recently you've been feeling as though you've gained a little weight
- It didn't bother you because you were considered too small not long ago..
- You glanced at your body in the mirror, running your hands up and down your stomach with a frown
- Chan noticed immediately and wrapped his arms around you from behind, also frowning
- But, he didn't frown at your body, he frowned at how disgusted you looked with yourself
- "Don't you think I've gained a little weight?" you bit your lip nervously in fear of how he'd respond
- He nodded quickly, "isn't that what we were working towards? You were a little small."
- You liked that he was honest
- "Didn't I gain too much, though?"
- He sighed, his hands tapping at your stomach with his chin resting on your shoulder, "does it matter how much you gained?"
- "It matters to me..."
- "Whether you gained weight, or lost weight... it shouldn't matter. Don't obsess over your weight, it's unhealthy for you."
- "I'm not obsessing over my weight," you snapped back harshly
- "Okay, so don't make any comments on your weight or your body. It shouldn't be something you think about."
- He was right, even if you didn't want to believe him
- He began to kiss down your neck, his hands still resting on your stomach comfortably, "your body's perfect. Don't label it as a specific size."
- His words comforted you more than you thought, and he surprisingly helped build up your confidence
- "I like it," he smiled, "I like your body so much, I could stare at it all day."

Lee Minho:

- Minho would often joke about your choice of clothing, especially when it came to going out at night
- "Are you going to wear that?"
- "Excuse me?" you furrowed your brows, feeling slightly upset over Minho's harsh comment
- "No, like, there's nothing wrong with it," he shrugged, obviously lying to you
- "If I go out wearing this, will I embarrass you?"
- "Y/n-"
- "Do you know how self conscious I get? Just going out in sweats makes me uncomfortable."
- He seemed a little hurt, he didn't realise he'd upset you with his snarky remark
- "It doesn't help that you question my outfit choice all the time. Do you want me to dress like other girls when we go out? Should I wear dresses? Should I wear revealing clothes? Do you prefer that?"
- "Stop!" he growled, "you think I'm embarrassed to be out with you? I don't care what you wear. It's not my place to tell you what to wear and what not to wear. You want to go out in baggy clothes? That's fine. You want to dress up nicely when we're just going to the store? That's fine, too."
- "Then what's your problem?! You question everything I wear. 'Are you sure you want to wear that?' 'Is that really what you're wearing?' 'Can't you go and change into something else?' You have no idea how rude it sounds, and it's humiliating. Please don't make me feel so embarrassed for expressing myself in a certain way."
- "I-" he paused, gulping, "I wasn't trying to humiliate you."
- You felt slightly stupid for accusing Minho of something like this, but you'd built up the feeling of being humiliated by him for so long, you couldn't keep it to yourself for much longer, it was bugging you
- "Fine," he nodded, leaving you alone in the room
- "Minho-" you thought of following after him, but you chose to stay where you were
- He came back into the room shortly after, he'd changed his clothes
- He was wearing an outfit similar to yours, he'd entered with a bright smile on his face, "let's go to dinner."
- "Hey-"
- "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you self conscious, it wasn't my intention," he sighed, taking your hand, "if you really feel insecure then I can't think of any other way to help you. Besides, sweats are more comfortable."
- He kissed your forehead gently, beginning to drag you towards the door
- He apologised, and he brought back your confidence just by understanding you, which was all that you wanted

Seo Changbin:

- "Changbin," you dropped your head, walking towards him with your arms hung low by your side
- "What's wrong?" he pulled you into the comfort of his arms, brushing back your hair as he waited for your response
- "I don't think I'm fitting in..."
- Training as a dancer was harder than you thought, everyone seemed to be at a higher level than you
- "I can't dance as well as everyone else. I feel so embarrassed..."
- He understood your feelings and pulled away with his hands resting on your shoulders, "are you struggling?"
- "I don't know as much as they do, my skills are limited when it comes to actual dancing.."
- "You'll pick up the dance, just keep practicing."
- "It's not as easy as that."
- "When it comes to learning choreography, you'll be at a higher level than everyone else. You're not expected to be good at everything straight away. Just because you're a little further behind, that doesn't mean you're at a different level to your other peers. You're okay at one thing, but you're better at another thing."
- His words made you feel a little more confident with your progression
- You were worried you were falling behind everyone else, the dances were harder than you expected
- "Now you know that's your weakness, but you have plenty of other strengths."
- Without a word, you pulled on his shirt to hug him, breathing a sigh of relief at the stress leaving your body
- "Thank you."
- You didn't think you'd be able to get through the day if you hadn't seen Changbin, you'd constantly be cautious of your progression and how well you were doing, but you already felt better
- "I'll still help you with it. You have a better chance of learning the dance quickly that way."
