- You'd always loved dancing since you were a kid
- Chan was one of your best friends and you'd been in love with him since forever
- He'd debuted recently and it gave you hope that you, too, could one day debut
- There was a dance program at your high school that had recently started, and Chan begged you to try it
- "This could be a good opportunity for you, you should go for it!"
- He was always so supportive of you, and just with him asking you to try out made you feel so much more confident in yourself
- Obviously you were one of the best dancers there, but Chan had his eye on on a few other dancers as well
- Equally, everyone was good, but only a few of you stood out
- Tryouts were simple, and quite easy
- You nailed the choreography quickly but only a selected amount of you passed to the next stage
- Your school was quite serious when it came to competitions etc, so people were cut quickly from the program for slowing other dancers down
- Chan still believed that you could pass all stages, and hoped that you'd do well
- He brushed your hair back and smiled at you, "you'll be fine. I know you'll do well."
- It finally came down to just five of you, and the director of the dance program had decided to keep you all in the dance
- When you heard the news, you were so excited you ran over to Chan immediately and wrapped your arms tightly around him
- He squeezed you back gently, and gave you a soft smile, "I told you you could do it, didn't I?"
- You nodded with a smile, nuzzling your face into his chest
- He was proud of you, you could tell, and he even hoped that one day you'd work side by side

- Minho was always supportive of your dancing career
- You had only been dancing for a few years, but with Minho's training you gradually got better day by day
- Every day after class finished, you rushed to the studio where Minho was rehearsing, and he often taught you choreography that he was practising himself
- "I'm surprised," he chuckled, watching you dance with a raised brow, "you're picking up the choreography quickly."
- When the time came around, a dance program was announced
- It was just an out of hours class where you could get extra credit for extracurriculars, and Minho helped you sign up
- Most of the students who signed up didn't dance
- A few of them were beginners, some were professional that wanted to show off their skills, but most of them didn't have experience whatsoever
- You thought the dance program would stress you out, you needed to test your skills and abilities so you endured it
- But it turned out to just be a fun program
- You got to teach other students choreography, you helped them with balance and focusing on their movements
- Eventually, after a few months, the dance program gradually became competitive, and you were asked to compete against a rival school
- Of course you were scared, but when you found out the director of the program offered you the position of leadership you were even more petrified
- "Are you serious?" Minho grinned, jumping up to hug you, "that's great! I'm so proud of you!"
- You realised that, finally, your hard work had paid off
- Minho came to every rehearsal after that night, he brought food and drink for you to take breaks and relax
- He even rehearsed with you until late at night to make sure you'd be absolutely ready for the competition
- Unfortunately, you didn't win, but you weren't upset about it
- "You worked hard," he smiled, ruffling your hair, "it doesn't matter that you lost. In my mind, you won."
- Minho congratulated you for working so well, and your fellow peers praised you for helping them work so hard and teaching them
- Even after the competition, the group had met up everyday after school to keep rehearsing and, still, Minho watched every night and cheered you on

- Before Changbin debuted you'd often rehearse and dance together
- You were both incredible dancers but, let's be honest, you were slightly better ;)
- Since he was one of the best rappers you knew, he used to rap to choreography you'd rehearsed
- It made your dance sessions so much more fun, you just got to enjoy your time together
- Most of the time it was just freestyle for the both of you, but it was always fun and sounded good whether it was prepared or not
- "Changbin," you sat down with your water bottle, "a dance program opened up at school."
- "Really?" he raised his brows, taking a seat next to you, "why don't you join? It could be a good experience for you."
- "It's just a freestyle event, I'm not sure if I'd like it."
- He ruffled your hair and took a sip of water, "what if I joined you?"
- A smile crept up on your face and he nudged you
- Changbin encouraged you to join, and so you did
- He even came with you to motivate yourself to go
- The students you met there seemed to be quite good to your surprise, but it didn't put you down
- There was no surprised you'd be nervous, but Changbin was always there to support you and it made you feel so much better that he was there
- It became a regular thing where you would go together, and sometimes you'd even dance in front of a crowd of students who'd decided to watch your performance
- You accepted to perform in front of your entire school, and took it as your opportunity to include Changbin
- "Do you want to rap for me?" you grinned, "I think it would be cool."
- "For your performance?" his eyes widened, and he spluttered his drink, "I... yeah, I guess."
- You could tell he was nervous, but that made it even better for the both of you
- You could both overcome your fears and anxiety by performing together, you'd feel much more comfortable
- Every night until your performance you spent your time with Changbin so he could rap an entirely brand new song, and so you could teach yourself choreography that matched the beat
- When the performance came around, you were shocked to see that Changbin had memories the choreography and even joined you in dancing at certain times where there was a break in his song
- You were impressed, but the second he joined you you felt so much more confident in your dancing
- Just having him by your side made your anxiety disappear
- It was a moment you'd never forget
