POV: They lift your self esteem

Hwang Hyunjin:

- His hand reaches down your stomach, beginning to brush along your thigh before you push his hand away, slightly embarrassed as you turn away anxiously
- He widens his eyes, concerned by your sudden shy expression, "did I do something wrong?"
- "No!" you shake your head, reassuring him with your hand stroking against his cheek, "you did nothing wrong..."
- "You look uncomfortable," he sat up from his laying position, turning to face you
- "I'm a little nervous," your palm harshly rubs against the back of your neck
- You'd thought about why you were nervous for some time, and you realised that you were insecure about not being ready for sex...
- It wasn't that you didn't want to, you just didn't think now was the right time
- What made it worse was thinking about how he'd react
- "It's okay," he smiled, letting his thumb gently brush over your cheek soothingly, "take your time."
- He seemed to understand your insecurity, and he shook it off as if the problem hadn't made an impact on either of you
- That wasn't to say that you'd never be ready, but you were thankful for him to take it so sweetly
- "You can tell me whenever you're ready, okay?" he kissed your forehead, allowing you to rest your head against his chest comfortably, "I won't pressure you into something you're not ready for. It's okay."

Han Jisung:

- "Jisung," you pull him to the side of the path, staring at the crowds of people glaring at the two of you
- You assumed they were staring at your height; you were taller than your boyfriend
- He waits for you to speak up, his hands tugging on yours lightly to turn your attention away from the public, "what's wrong?"
- "Are you embarrassed?" you mumble under your breath, worried about saying it any longer
- Being stared at clearly made you uncomfortable, why wouldn't it?
- "What?" he chuckled, taking the situation lightly, "why would I be embarrassed? Hm? For what reason?"
- "Wouldn't you prefer being with someone shorter?"
- You hated saying it, but you wanted to know his sincere and honest answer
- It wouldn't surprise you if he laughed it off, or simply shrugged and thought about it, or even said yes without hesitation
- "Does it look like i'm embarrassed?" he frowned, pulling at your hands even more, "so what? You're taller than me, what difference does it make? I'm just...short," he chuckles, "I'll grow in time."
- It wasn't much of a height difference, maybe a few cm's, but you always noticed those few cm's between the two of you
- You didn't care about dating someone who's shorter than you, but you worried because he seemed to find shorter people more attractive
- "Answer me honestly," you tutted
- "I don't care about your height. Whether you're my height, 2 feet shorter, 2 feet taller, it shouldn't matter. Does my height embarrass you?"
- Now that you'd been asked the question, you realised how rude you acted, it wasn't a question you felt comfortable answering
- You felt guilty in case you made him feel like he was too short, or that you preferred taller guys, but you didn't care, just like how he doesn't care about how you're taller
- "Are you less worried, now?"
- You nod, playing childishly with him as you continued to walk
