POV: During pregnancy, you lose your baby

Bang Chan:

- Chan was so excited to finally be a father, he'd dreamt about it for years and he was just happy you could have his baby
- He's constantly talking about it to his friends, literally just bragging about it... but, why wouldn't he? He was obviously overjoyed
- He realises you start getting worried about the baby
- "Are you okay?" he hums, wrapping his arm around you and kissing your head comfortingly
- You nod, knowing you were lying
- "Just call me if you need me, i'll be at work until late."
- The rest of the day passes and he gets home to see you in tears, looking up to him as though you're lost
- He rushes to your side, kneeling down to look up at you as he brushes your hair back, "has something happened?"
- He knew you'd been panicking for a few days
- You hadn't been getting any pregnancy symptoms at all, you'd stopped vomiting, you hadn't felt sick at all
- It was even worse that you hadn't felt the baby kicking...
- He wasted no time and rushed you to the hospital, of course he was concerned as well, but he had to tell you it would be okay..
- It wasn't even hours later that Chan was sat with his head in his hands, staring at the floor blankly
- You looked over at him and began to cry, you couldn't help but feel guilty
- It was your responsibility to take care of your baby, but you'd lost it...
- You reached out your arm to him, and he slowly looked up to you with a sad smile
- He stood to his feet and kissed your head, holding his lips against you so he could continue to hold you a little longer
- Chan was so heartbroken, he didn't know how to feel
- "I'm sorry..." you apologised, tightening your arms around his torso
- He pulled back and frowned, "you can't blame yourself, these things happen. It's okay."
- Although he said it was okay, he knew it wasn't
- All he ever wanted was to be a father, and he'd lost that chance in just a short amount of time
- "We can try again when you're feeling better, okay? It's too soon to try again but we can wait a little longer, alright? I promise. We can keep trying and trying until we have our family."
- You felt a little better knowing that Chan was able to comfort you when you needed him
- But you had no idea that every night he'd visit the nursery just outside your bedroom
- He'd sit there for hours and cry, thinking about what went wrong
- He thought he'd done something, he didn't understand why either of you deserved to lose the one thing you loved the most

Lee Minho:

- When he found out you were pregnant, he wasn't overjoyed, but he didn't hate the idea
- Neither of you had planned to have a baby for a while but he didn't mind it happening
- "How do you feel?" you jumped at him excitedly
- He shrugged and picked up Dori, "is it like taking care of a cat?"
- You looked at him with an awkward expression, "I guess..."
- He'd always thought about starting a family with you, and that's all he could think about starting from now
- He took you out shopping at least once a week, if not more, to get things for the baby
- He said he wasn't going to overplan but he was already considering the gender of your baby
- You were getting ready for bed and Minho had noticed there were stains of blood on your pyjama pants
- "Hey, come here," he tugged at your arm to pull you over and pulled at your pants, "did you hurt yourself?"
- You furrowed your brows and looked at the stain, immediately panicking and taking off the pants to reveal the blood running down your legs
- "Should we go to the hospital?" Minho was a lot calmer than you were, he probably didn't want to scare you
- You went to see a doctor the next day to find out what was wrong, and Minho left the room as the results came through
- Your heart broke at the silence; no heartbeat, no life
- Minho needed some time for himself for the moment, so you let him take his time
- He didn't want you to see how upset he was, so he hid his feelings away from you
- He always comforted you when you needed him to, especially with the loss of your baby, and he always told you there was nothing wrong so you couldn't comfort him in anyway
- "I'm okay, don't worry. Get some sleep," he kissed your head and left the room with the light off
- "Aren't you coming to bed?" you jumped out of bed
- "I'll come up soon, i'm not tired yet."
- You had no idea that everyday before he'd go to bed, he sat alone outside watching videos and scrolling through photos of you through your pregnancy
- He watched a two hour long video of when the two of you painted the baby's room
- At first, he really didn't want a baby, at least not right now, he was too scared and felt as though he was too young
- But knowing that you'd lost the child made him feel empty... he got so excited after months went by, he was so lost now, he could only think of comforting you

Seo Changbin:

- Changbin was always the one asking you for a child
- He was proud of himself once he found out you were pregnant
- He took care of you 24/7 even though it was the early stages of your pregnancy, you didn't need help at all but he insisted you put your feet up and relax
- "Changbin, being pregnant isn't a disability-"
- "It is now," he forced you to sit down, holding you back until you gave in
- When things started to go wrong with your pregnancy, you felt too afraid to tell him
- He was always so excited about starting a family with you, you didn't want to worry him
- You felt guilty, you'd been to see a doctor without him and you'd known for weeks that you'd lost the baby
- If you told him now, he'd be angry at your for not telling him before
- The least you could have done was taken him to the appointment...
- He noticed the days go by and you didn't complain of sickness, you didn't complain about your breasts feeling so tender anymore, every time he wanted to hear his baby kick or move, you wouldn't let him
- Changbin just assumed he'd upset you...
- You got him home from work early one night, and you told him...
- "Why didn't you tell me..." he lowered his head, tears falling down his cheek
- "I..." you paused, holding back tears, "I didn't want you to blame me."
- He looked up at you and his face dropped, he was so devastated
- "Do you really think I'd blame you?" he cried openly, dropping his head into his hands frantically, "I could never blame you for something like this, it's not your fault, you know it's not."
- The look on his face just broke your heart, you pulled him into your arms and apologised for not telling him sooner
- He let tears fall down his cheek before kneeling to the floor, his hand against your slowly shrinking stomach
- He kissed the baby who was no longer breathing, and held his cheek against your small bump, tears falling from his eyes onto your shirt
- He continued to pray that you'd be able to be pregnant at least once more, he asked for your child to come back in another life
- It was all he ever wanted...
