Wally's POV

"ROBIN! I WILL KILL– NOOOOOOOOO!"

I yelled in anguish as Robin beat me at Crush Race 3.

"Sucks to be you." He said and leaned back in bis chair.

"I want a rematch." I complained.

"I've beat you three times in a row, even if you beat me next round, I'll still be in the lead." He smirked.

"But that's not fair!" I complained.

"You're the one who's been cheating! Every time you throw something at me, your helicopter runs into a building, not mine." He accused, "Anyway, Batman should be here soon."

I stuck my tongue out and he rolled his eyes.

Thump.

We both sat up and looked at the wall. Max's room was next to mine.

"Should we check on that?" Robin said.

"Uhhhhhh. You won, you decide." I said.

He glared, but stood up and walked to the door. I ran over and we went through.

He knocked on Max's door.

Obviously, there was no answer, but a few seconds later, there was another thump and the door opened.

Max looked at us through the doorway, her face red a d sweaty.

"Are you okay?" Robin asked.

She nodded.

"Okay, just checking..." He said.

She stared at him.

He started to close the door.

"What are you doing in there?" I asked.

She opened the door and stepped to the side.

Her mattress was taken off the bed. Her bed was leaning against the wall, with the blanket hung over the front, her mattress was leaning against the opposite wall, which was the wall between her bedroom and mine.

"Uh, what is this?" I asked.

She pointed to the bed and blanket on one wall and then pulled out the notebook, flipped a few pages and pointed to one of the many words on the page.

Sleep

Then pointed to the mattress and then another page and word.

Work

"Work?" Robin asked.

She sighed, dropped the notebook, and then went over to the mattress.

She made a fist and pretended to punch it.

"Oh." I said.

"You know we have a training room... you can use it, as long as one of us is there." Robin said.

She shook her head.

"Okay, well, we're going to go now, then." He said

We shut the door behind us.

"There you are!" Artemis said, annoyed.

"Batman is here, did you not hear the announcement?" She asked, looking mostly at me.

"He didn't hear it either!" I complained, pointing to Robin.

"Stop being so childish." She said and walked away.

We followed her to the mission room, where Batman was waiting.

"You're late." He glared at me.

But Robin is late too! I thought, really wanting to complain.
