I took a deep breath in. Both Lída and I had passed the obstacle course. We met up again in the center of the arena, standing by the rest of class 1A. Midoriya looked around nervously, his head hanging down in anxiousness because he finished first in the race. Midnight announced the second challenge, a cavalry battle. The top 45 students would move on to the next challenge. Midnight explained we had to get into groups of 2-4 and capture the headbands of other teams to continue on to the next challenge. Lída and I agreed to form a tem, and looked around for another person to possibly be a part of our team. Everyone else was already in a team, except one. One with soft blonde hair, and grey eyes. I recognized her. In the states, we called her Amaryllis. In the League, she was known as The Sorcerous. (Quick a/n I'm terrible at hero and villain names lmao)

I glanced at Lída, and it seemed like she recognized her as well. I watched her carefully as her jaw clenched. I didn't realize it, but Amaryllis had moved in front of us. "So, you two are on the hero path now too."

"Yeah, so?" Lída growled. "You disappeared one day. This is where you went?"

"After that mission here me and a couple others got captured by those heroes, because of our age, they said we could be recruited into their reformation program. It would split us up, and send us to another country to keep us from being recognized. I ended up here in Japan." She glanced at me. "How about you, hot stuff?"

I rolled my eyes at the old nickname. "Well, Things got weird and I came back. Now are we gonna do the team we used to do?"

Lída smirked. "I'm in. Ryllis?"

She smiled. "Fuck yea. Now, Eradicate, what's the plan." Apparently, we were going to use old nicknames. I was called Eradicate because of my dad's quirk I inherited. Being able to cancel quirks by skin to skin contact.

"I think Amaryllis should be the rider. You can use your quirk to protect our headband, as well as all the others we gather. Lída, you use your quirk to manipulate the other 'horses' closer to us without them realizing, as well as helping me carry Amaryllis, and I will be the one to carry Amaryllis. If any teams get near me, I will use Eradicate to distract them, and then we steal their headband. Everyone will be heading for Midoriya, so I think it's best to go for the smaller point teams and gain as many points as we can. Alright?" They both nodded in agreement with my plan, so we lined up at the edge of the field and Lída and I started to carry Amaryllis. Finally they announced the start of the battle. And then we were off.

Lída and I quickly headed for one of the other teams, the one with the least points. In the rush, another team got in front of us, and Lída began singing under her breath, but loud enough for the team to hear. They all froze, then Amaryllis pulled the headband off and tied it around her neck with the dark purple energy. Smirking, we quickly ran toward another team, getting their headband too. Then, we ran across Monoma's team, the egotistical bastard from 1B. Amaryllis frowned, ducking away to avoid physical contact. Of course, his quirk was Copy. He could copy up to four quirks at a time. With the four of us here, the ones that would be desirable to someone like him would be Amaryllis and mine.

I watched as he went past us and went for Bakugo's team, smirking as he stole Bakugo's headband.

"Hurry, let's get more points." I said, leading us to another team. We quickly took their points, smirking at their shouts of distress, anger and frustration. It finally ended, and we dropped Amaryllis to the ground. "We still make a good team."

"Even after all this time." Amaryllis said. "We're just missing Alona. Where is she, anyway?" I paused.

"She's gone." I murmured. Lída glanced at me.

"Shit happened while you were gone, Ryllis. Jordan fucked us over, Kira here was able to get out immediately." Lída explained.

"She's gone? Like, gone gone?" Amaryllis was shocked. I stayed silent, the memories threatening to surface. Pushing them away I told the two we should get ready for the next event, as we made it through. It was the third and final event, which meant it was the one on one battles. I knew who I would have trouble fighting, the two in front of me being a couple of the ones I was worried about. But for now, I was glad that we had made it through to the finals.
