I have opened my eyes to look at the world,
And I see that the world is drunk again.
I witnessed the world,it was something to behold,
T'is sad since no one can understand my pain,
I can only look at the world sighing in dispirit.

You cannot see the world that I see,
Because you are drunk and I am sober.
Our consciousness is not on the same degree,
Because I have woken up from slumber,
While the world is fast asleep in its orbit.

I have to fight to keep my sanity,
Or I might find myself unable to tolerate,
This drunken world and the people in its entirety,
Because I can not stand the world in this state.
All of this is just the world I see and I hate that no one else can see it.

Until another sober came for a visit,
Shrouding me with affection bit by bit,
Drawing me in with extraordinary spirit ,
However sweet, we are guilty of conceit.
Thy culprit is deficit eliciting a rift.

Our path diverged, still I hold no asperity,
I continued to explore with curiosity aplenty,
Till coming back became my utmost priority,
Using all ability in order to return with certainty,
For one day I will be with my beloved for all eternity.
