Chapter 5

Nathan's POV

*Alarm beeps

I reached for my alarm clock and turned it off.

It's already morning. I looked at my alarm clock to check the time. I forgot what time did I set my alarm.

I git a glimpse of it. One of my eyes still closed. It's already 6 in the morning. I pushed myself up of my bed. I stretched my arms, jumped 3 times and start doing 15 push-ups. It's my daily morning routine. I grew up doing this every morning.

After that I went to the bathroom to take a bath. After taking a bath I changed into my uniform. It's my first day on my new school. I transferred here for a personal reason. I am 19 years old. A third year college student. I want to be a Doctor so I went under the course of medicine. I enjoyed it because it's my dream. I did not find it hard to deal with. I am good in Mathematics. English and especially in Science.

I want to be a surgeon. I suddenly remembered someone by thinking of my dream.

I have a female Bestfriend that I haven't seen for more than 12 years already. She's really kind, he's caring, pretty, generous and loving. Her parents want to live on the other country and I can't do anything about it.

I can't remember her face but I can still recall the color of her eyes. She have heterochromia. Her left eye's color is crimson red while her left eye's color is nordic blue.

I'm still a child that day. I'm only 6 years old. I don't have any money to find her after years.

When their family's already flying to Paris-France she bid her last goodbye.

Until now I still remember her last words
"Our paths will cross again when there is fire in the ocean."

I hurriedly went down and cooked my breakfast. I cooked rice using a rice cooker. While the rice is still cooking I  open the frigde. I choose bacon, egg and hotdog. I cooked it after too.

After cooking. I eat my breakfast.
My class starts at 8:00am today I shouldn't be late.

I checked the time on my watch. It's still 7:22am. I still almost an hour before my class. Instead of spending my time here in my condo alone I decided to called my cousin Iñigo and Adrian.

I picked my phone up from the dining table and opened it.

I dialed Ian's number first. He answered after five rings.

"Hey dude!" I greeted him. "Good morning."

"Yow man. Bakit ka tumawag? Need anything?" He asked me.

"Let's have coffee at Starbucks. Libre ko." Pag-aaya ko sa kanya.

Adrian is a thrifty person. You can't see him spending his money left and right. He's keeping his money as if he'll lose all of it if he spends it.

"Oh? Really?" He cheerfully said on the other line. "Game ako diyan. Libre na yan ehh." Dugtong niya pa.

I chuckled.

"Meet me there in five. I'll hang up now. I still need to call Iñigo. Bye dude." I said.

"Ok dude. Meet you there." He said then I hanged up.
