Chapter 16

After having a lunch with Nathan, Saph and Heazel. All of us proceed to our respective classes.

Hinatid ako ni Nathan sa harap ng classroom ko. Nauna na din si Heazel sa amin kanina. Late na daw kasi siya.

'As if' bulong ng isip ko.

"Dito na ako" I said.

He smiled at me then nodded.

"Sige. See you later." He said. Napakunot ang noo ko.

Anong see you later ang sinasabi niya? Mamaya? Eh uwian na namin nun ehh. Ano ibig sabihin nito siya maghahatid sa akin sa bahay?

"Anong see you later?" I asked him.

"Yup. Kita tayo mamayang uwian. Ihahatid kita sa parking lot." Sabi niya.

I'm kinda' disappointed for what I've heard. Akala ko ihahatid niya ako sa bahay.  Hindi pala.

Nag expect pa naman ako. Tsk.

Wait! What? Nag eexpect ako? Why? This is wrong. Arghh! Nakakainis.

I act normally.

"Ahh ganun ba? Ok then."

When we reached my respective classroom he promptly say goodbye and left.

I don't know kung ano ang nangyayari sa akin. I don't remember any words our professor's been teaching us. I just find myself fixing my things as soon as the buzzer rings.

Nagmamadali akong pinagpapasok ang mga gamit ko sa bag ko. I did not bother to arrange it as what I always do. Nasa labas na ng classroom ang utak ko.

I was ready to storm out of the door when I felt a finger touched my forehead and pushed it.  It makes me take a 3 steps back.

I was about to shout at the person when I raised my head. Sapphire's pretty face came to my view.

Nainis ako sa kanya.

Nagmamadali na akong lumabas ehh tas haharang harang pa siya. Nasaan ang hustisya? Kapag nasa katwiran, ipaglaban mo! Kaya ilalaban ko to.

"Excuse me, mareng Saph. Pero, will you let me pass? You're nakaharang sa way ko." Pagcoconyo ko pa. I was about to go out of the room when she did the same thing again.

"Ano ba!" Naiiritang sambit ko. I stomped my feet.

Pag ako mas nainis pa isusumpa ko talaga na maging isa siyang pangit na palaka. Promise. Diyosa kaya ako. I am Aphrodite!

"Do you like him?" She suddenly asked after staring at me. Her arms crossed in front of her chest. Her face shows no emotion at all.

I was taken aback with her question. It leaves me off guard. I did not answer her.

Hindi agad ako nakasagot sa kanya. I think about it. Do I like him already? Partida, hindi pa kami laging nagkikita niyan. Tapos attitude pa siya minsan at mapang asar. Argh!!

Sabi ko hindi ako mafo-fall sa kanya ehh! Pero ok lang. Maganda naman ako. Kaya pa to.

Matagal na kaming nakatayo. Wala ng mga students pa sa room. They all went home, I guess?

My mind was busy wandering somewhere ng makaramdam ako ng sakit sa noo ko. Napasapo ko ang noo ko. I glared at the culprit who's currently staring down at me. She's about to do the same thing twice when I slapped her hand away.
