It's been six years and I became busier ever since I got to be the CEO of our company. This had always been my dream to sit down and be referred to as the leader of this business company. Now, here I am fulfilling my dreams yet still feels like something is missing. I got what I wanted what more do I need?
"Ashiah, the Board members are already waiting for you in the meeting room." wika ni Ate Sally.
"Sige, susunod ako. Salamat Ate." nang makalabas si Ate Sally ay sinuot ko na ang blazer ko na hinubad kanina. I took the files I needed and a pen then I put my phone in my pocket. After that, I went outside and Ate Sally is waiting for me at sabay kaming pumasok sa meeting room.
All of them greeted and I did likewise in a form of respect. As usual, the meeting did its thing, talking about the sales, investments and such. Meanwhile, I was quietly listening at the back.
As soon as the meeting adjourned, I received a text from Emie.
Atty. Emienem:
Lillie's club, 6pm. See u!
Party again I see.
5:26 pm. I took my blazer and headed out and go home so I can change my clothes. I don't live where I used to, instead the nine of us live in a same village pero si Vheatrix nga lang ang palaging wala dahil nasa Japan na, she only goes home here for a vacation for a couple of months. She has plans on managing their company here in the Philippines. She only goes home here for a vacation for a couple of months.
When I got home I quickly took a bath and dried my hair. After then, I changed into a mauve colored dress that hugged my body well and matched it with black blocked heels. I applied light makeup and tied my hair in a low ponytail. My hair is getting longer I think I need to cut it a bit short.
When I finished I went outside and started my cars engine and went inside then drove off to the club. When J got there I saw some of friends waving at me. I quickly went up to them and saw them all dressed up.
Only Emie, Fhoebe, Cali, Lenorah, Charlotte and Lillie are present. Klairen's in Hongkong while Vi's in Japan.
"Bakit parang malungkot ka, Feb?" tnong ko sa kanya na parang naiiyak na ang mga mata.
"Kulang lang 'yan ng paraSethtamol. Automatic mawawala ang lungkot niya."
"Tang'na ka Emie!"
Seth and Fhoebe actually had a thing but broke up years ago. Seth never told me anything, Fhoebe was the one who told me why they broke up. I know it was personal so I didn't dig deeper.
"Si Charlotte natin may lablyp na guys!" Cali revealed to us. Nanlaki mata namin sa narinig.
"The fvck? Who?" tanong ni Emie kay Charlotte. Tumawa naman siya at talagang hinintay namin ang sagot niya.
"His name is Phantom."
His name rings a bell. I think know him.
"Phantom? Engineer Phantom?" kuryoso kong tanong.
She nodded.
