Greetings everyone!
This marks the completion of the first arc of Jackal Eka and the part upto which I'll be submitting for the ONC 2021 Round 3. It stands with a total word count of 26,149, with twelve chapters and an epilogue.
The world-building in Jackal Eka ended up having so much more potential than what I had anticipated, that there's no way I'm not expanding this into a full blown novel one day. I've ended up falling in love with Daminey's story and honestly, I don't think this novella does her character arc justice in its present state. It deserves a rework into a novel and holy smokes, the possible plot paths that have opened up are just insane!
*Insert excited pterodactyl screeches*
To all those who had supported Jackal Eka by reading it, voting upon it, reviewing it and supporting it so far, thank you for everything. Writer's block was a pain in the glutes at times but the comments Jackal Eka received kept me going. Thank you once again for giving my baby so much love! 🥰♥️
Congratulations to all my fellow ONC writers who wrote incredible books in the short span of thirteen weeks. It's not an easy feat, but we did it and we deserve all the chocolate in the world for doing so! 😆🎉
