= New York; Avengers Compound =
"Still no word from Vision?" Secretary Ross asks Rhodey via hologram
"Satellites lost him somewhere over Edinburgh." Rhodey responds
"On a stolen Quinjet with five of the world's most wanted criminals." Ross says
"You know they're only criminals because you've chosen to call them that, right, sir?" Rhodey retorts
"My God, Rhodes, your talent for horseshit rivals my own." Ross shoots back
"If it weren't for those Accords, Vision would've been right here." Rhodey argues
"I remember your signature on those papers, Colonel." Ross tells him
"That's right. And I'm pretty sure I've paid for that." Rhodey says, referencing his legs that have braces on them to keep him moving around
"You have second thoughts?" Ross asks
"Not anymore." Rhodey says
The fugitive Avengers enter the room, Vision being supported by Sam. Ross' eyes shift to see the group that had just entered
"Mr. Secretary." Steve says with a nod
"You got some nerve. I'll give you that." Ross tells them
"You could use some of that right now." Natasha retorts cooly
"The world's on fire. And you think, all is forgiven?" Ross scoffs
"I'm not looking for forgiveness." Steve tells him straight to the point. "And I'm way past asking for permission. Earth just lost her best defender. So we're here to fight." Steve takes a step forward, looking right at Ross. "And if you wanna stand in our way... we'll fight you, too."
Ross looks at Rhodey. "Arrest them." He orders
"All over it." Rhodey says. He swipes off the hologram and the computer beeps as Ross disappears. "That's a court-martial. It's great to see you, Cap."
Steve and Rhodey hug. "You too, Rhodey." Steve responds
Rhodey hugs Natasha before letting go. "Well." Rhodey says, looking at the group. "You guys really look like crap. Must've been a rough couple of years."
"Yeah, well, the hotels weren't exactly five star." Sam says
"Uh, I think you look great." Bruce Banner awkwardly says from across the room. Natasah looks over, her eyes locked on Bruce's. "Uh... heh... Yeah. I'm back."
"Hi, Bruce." Natasha says
"Nat." Bruce says, nodding his head slightly
"This is awkward." Sam whispers

Natasha, Bruce, Steve, Rhodey, Wanda, Nikita, and Vision stand in another room, discussing
"So we gotta assume they're coming back, right?" Rhodey poses the question
"And they can clearly find us." Wanda says
"We need all hands on deck." Bruce says. "Where's Clint?"
"After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal." Natasha says. "It was too tough on their families, they're on house arrest."
"Who's Scott?" Bruce asks
"Ant-Man." Steve says
"There's an Ant-Man and a Spider-Man?" Bruce asks. He then shakes his head to clear it, moving on to more pressing matters. "Okay, look... Thanos has the biggest army in the universe. And he is not gonna stop until he... he gets... Vision's Stone."
