"R-Rae?"
I snapped out of my weird thoughts and realised i was staring into his eyes the whole time. "oh shit" i thought, feeling my face start to get red.
"S-so..uh..what should
we talk about ..uh"
At this point, i didn't see a reason why i shouldn't tell him my feelings.. right?
"how am i gonna do it though..?"
"Syk..? C-can i ask you something?"
"uh..yea of course. What is it?"
"H-how... or who do you see me as?"
"Uh..well i ..see you as...
someone i care about a lot."
I hated how vague he was being but couldn't help feel good about that answer. I needed more from him though. I was awkwardly looking down at my thighs the whole time, trying to figure out how to get my feelings out.
"Sy-sykkuno.. have you ever..
considered seeing me...as..
someone more..?
"Wh-what do you mean..?"
I started getting frustrated with myself.
"why the fuck can't i just say it???!"
My hands go straight to cover my face and i squealed in frustration.
"UGHH~"
"Rae?? Are you okay? What
is it you need to tel.."
"i like you."
"fuck. i said it."
My hands were still on my face. I could feel my face getting hot. The silence was so loud. I thought i fucked up big time. I regretted it instantly and wished i could take back those words. But it had to be done anyway. Those few seconds of silence was killing me.
"W-what..? R-Rae.. uhm
what did you mean by that..i.."
i broke.
"I'm saying i like you sykkuno!
I like you more than a friend and i want you
to feel the same way about me!
What is there not to understand??"
I said firmly while fidgeting around in
the chair and simultaneously removing and planting my hands to my face.
"i'm fucked. he probably thinks im insane.
Our friendship is done for. he's gonna
hate me forever now"
I was having a crisis in my own head.
My hands were glued to my face, that was already red as hell. My heart was beating like a motherfucker. I couldn't move anymore.
I just hoped the night didn't become
harder to sleep through than before.

Sykkuno said in a calm voice.
"he's just trying to be nice at this point"
i thought, scared of what he was going to say.

"HE DEFINITELY THINKS I'M INSANE
