When three o'clock came we all walked to the podium seats. Dream and karl motioned for Sapnap, George, and I to sit with them. Tubbo and Ranboo said they were going to sit with Purpled and Jack manifold. I hugged Ranboo and we parted ways. I sat in the seat Sapnap had saved and he held my hand. Then wilbur came up to the front of the stage and began to speak.

"I'm sure you're all anxious to hear who the new leader is so lets get this over with." He began. "Coconut 2020, came in 4th place." NIkki and Fundy hugged. I felt bad for them, deep down I knew there wasn't much of a chance for Fundy to win but he still tried. "In 3rd place, Schlatt 2020." I was surprised Schlatt came before fundy but the look on his face scared me more. When fundy found out he lost he hugged nikki and had a defeated but grateful look. Schlatt's expression was suspiciously confident. "In 2nd place," I held my breath. This brought it down to quackity and wilbur. "In second place comes Swag 2020." I let out a sigh of relief. Until I noticed, there it was again. That same suspiciously confident look on Quackity's face. "In first place, Pog 2020." Wilbur announces.

"We won! Wilbur we won!" Tommy exclaims. He was ecstatic. Fundy and Nikki began to clap. Then for some strange reason instead of celebrating Wilbur tells Tommy to stop. All the while that same confident look is plastered on Schlatt and Quackity's faces.

"Tommy wait, Quackity and Schlatt agreed to pool their votes as co-leaders. Meaning. . . Quackity and Schlatt are the new leaders of Lmanburg." Wilbur says. I wanted to applause for Quackity but I couldn't do it knowing Schlatt would be right there with him. I think everyone else felt the same because the crowd was silent.

"Thankyou, Thankyou. Now to get down to business." Schlatt says. "My first, executive order if you will, is to revoke the citizenship of Wilbur Soot and Tommy innit." He states. A look of horror flashes over Tommys face. "Hold on-" Quackity starts to say. Schlatt ignores any protest from him.

"Go." Schlatt says. They slowly make their way down the stairs. Why was no one else disgusted? Is no one going to protest this. I stand up.

"NO!" I yell. "WILBUR HE CAN'T DO THIS!" I felt tears begin to form.

"Im sorry he can. I guess it was never meant to be." Wilbur says. I run up to give him a hug before he can go.

"Alright that's enough."  Schlatt says. "Punz, get them out." Punz stands up and aims his crossbow at the two. Wilbur leaves the hug and begins to run.

"YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND US [y/n]!" Wilbur calls before running out of Lmanburg. I couldn't move. Why had Schlatt done this? I looked at him.

"You," I began. "You had no right to do this." I felt myself begin to walk towards him. I had a hatred in me fueling my movements which had become involuntary at this point.

"I can see someone isn't afraid of authority." Schlatt states.

"You have no authority over me." I say. I was about to charge him but sapnap got a hold of me.

"Hey, [y/n] it's ok. It will be ok to calm down." Sapnap tries to say.

"NICK LET ME GO!" I scream.

"Go." Sapnap says to Schlatt and Quackity.

[y/n] struggles to get out of my hold. It took a lot of strength to hold her back. I was afraid she would do something she regretted. It hurt to hear her scream my name because I knew how much pain she was in. She had to watch her brothers get exiled with a target on their back. Not to mention Tommy, she had already told me she felt guilty about not hanging out with him enough. When Schlatt was finally out of sight she stopped struggling. Then she turned around and I pulled her into a hug. "He would've let them die." She says quietly.

Quackity hung back on the stage. "[y/n], I'm so sorry I didn't know he would do that." Quackity tried to say.

"How could you let him do this?" She asks. When she asked this my heart broke for her. Her tone was no longer angry but sad and genuine.

"I- I don't know." He says. She shakes her head.

"I don't blame you Quackity but how could you team with that man? Did you want to be president that bad?" She says.

"I didn't think it would be like this." He admits.

"Let's go home." I say quietly. She nods. But when we got down the steps she was clearly too weak to go on by herself. I picked her up and carried her home. She cried in my shoulder on the walk home and when we got inside.

[y/n] pov

I hadn't cried that hard in my entire life. I didn't even cry this much when I thought my parents were dead. I knew I should've felt embarrassed about doing that up in front of everyone but I wasn't. I had stopped caring at that point. Sapnap held me tightly in his arms and let me use his shoulder to cry on.

"How could they?" I say.

"I don't know beautiful. I don't know." He says. I knew he didn't know what to say. That didn't matter to me having him there meant more than he could know.
