Chapter 32

It was sunset and Techno and I had just finished training. I could almost beat him in hand to hand combat. I was also getting really good at axe combat. I was ecstatic. I had been doing really well in training with Dream as well. I could easily beat Sapnap in a one on one in hand to hand. For the past few weeks Dream has been working on Sword and Bow. As much as I liked to throw a sword around, Techno had made me really good at Axe combat so I was excited for starting that with Dream.

Techno and I walked back to the house and went inside. It had been almost 3 weeks since I agreed to join Dream and Eret in their war efforts. I didn't know how to tell my family. Tonight I would. I sat down at the table, thankfully tubbo wasn't with us so I felt a bit better about discussing it with them. I sat down next to Tommy and told him how training went. Once everyone was there and we started eating I spoke up.

"So Eret is planning a war against Schlatt." I say. Wilbur and I make eye contact and hold it. Every time I see wilbur he looks more and more disheveled and sleep deprived. No matter what though, he still managed to put a smile on my face.

"Erets a fucking trader. He was supposed to put Schlatt out of power a long time ago." Wilbur says. Wilbur was referring to the agreement Eret and I came to at the dinner months ago. However, the agreement was never actually agreed upon. We came up with conditions but never signed a contract or anything.

"Wilbur it would mean having you back as president. I negotiated that with Eret and Dream." I say.

"Hold on, how did you have the grounds to negotiate that? What do you have that they want bad enough to let Lmanburg keep its independence?" Techno asks.

"You didn't use the vault location as leverage did you?" Tommy asks.

"No. They wanted my loyalty." I say. A smile forms on Technos face. I rarely saw him give a smile this genuine.

"My little sister." Techno says. Hearing techno call me his little sister and be genuinely proud made my heart soar.

"Hey she's mine too." Wilbur adds in. Then wilbur looks at me again. "[y/n] what does this war entail? Will you need any of our help?" Wilbur asks.

"I don't know yet wilbur. So far the plans I've made with Eret are we are going to give Schlatt a notice in about a week that tells him he can surrender his position as president or we will declare war." I tell him. Wilbur nods.

We finished the dinner and I told them about my training. I helped Philza clean up after dinner and then wilbur and techno and I hung out in the livingroom for about an hour and a half. Wilbur played music for us while Techno hummed along and read a book. Wilbur eventually stopped playing and we talked for a bit about things back home. Then to my surprise he asked me about sapnap.

"Do you still live with Sapnap?" Wilbur asks. I felt my cheeks go red. "I'll take the blushing as a yes." Wilbur says then chuckles.

Techno, who hadn't said more than a few words till that point, spoke up. "I hope the boy knows that if he hurts you he has me to answer to." Technos words make me giggle. Its funny to me how protective Techno is over his family. I like knowing I'm one of the few people he has a soft spot for.

"I think he knows Techno. Besides I don't think he's gonna hurt me anytime soon." I say. Wilbur laughs.

"I miss Nikki more and more every day." Wilbur says.

"Ya know, I could bring her a letter." I tell wilbur. Wilburs eyes light up.

"Really?" He asks.

"Yea. Write one before tomorrow morning when I leave and I'll bring it to her." I tell him.

"Oh [y/n], you don't know how much that would mean to me." Wilbur says.

Wilbur talked for a little longer then went upstairs to write his letter. I told techno goodnight and went upstairs to go to bed myself. Tommy was already sound asleep in his bed. I got into sweats and one of sapnaps shirts and cuddled up in my blankets. I giggled when I saw that tommy had left the window open. When we were growing up I was originally gonna get my own room. But tommy had to share a room with Wilbur and Techno and he always argued over whether or not he could keep the window open. I always slept with a window open so I suggested he share a room with me. It ended up being the best living arrangement ever because I don't think I would've had nearly as fun of a childhood if I didn't share a room with Tommy.
I was trying to fall asleep when Tommy spoke from above me. (He's on the top bunk of our bunk bed) "[y/n]?" I hear.

"Yeah?" I respond.

"Is it just me or is Wilbur not okay?" He asks.

"It's not just you." I respond. I didn't know how to tell him that his brother was going insane being away from Lmanburg.

"I wish there was a way for me to help him." Tommy says.

"Tommy, none of it's your fault. I hope you know that. I think Wilbur is just having a hard time dealing with being away from Lmanburg." I say.

"You're right. I know you are, it just feels like there's something I can do." Tommy says.

"Tommy there isn't anything you can do. But I promise to do everything I can." I tell him.

"Thanks [y/n]." Tommy says. I fell asleep soon after that.

The next morning I got up and left around 5 am. I got to Lmanburg and exited the tunnel. I had almost made my way out of Lmanburg when I felt something grab my arm. "Well darlin, looks like you finally came for a visit." I hear from behind me. I turn to face a pair of ram horns.
