Sinners and Saints

Part 10

Hermione's p.o.v.

"There was something else I wanted to talk to you about and I'm pretty sure, Hermione, you won't have had a feeling about this one."

The three others had fairly confused looks on their faces, what else could Ginny have to tell them that they didn't already know about.

Ginny could see Hermione's brain whirring trying to figure out what this surprise new information was. She gave a slight chuckle.

"The thing is," she started, "I'm bi."

There was no reaction. Nothing. To Ginny it felt like it lasted for a lifetime. It started to worry her when all three of them gave huge sighs of relief and started to laugh and smile at her.

Fred looked at her "We thought you were going to tell us you were fatally ill."

George nodded in agreement and said "Sis we are going to love you no matter who you are and who you choose to love. And for the record that makes you even cooler."

Hermione sat there smiling at her, with tears in her eyes.

"Mione what's wrong?" Ginny asked.

"I'm so happy and honoured that I am one of the first people you chose to tell." Hermione said, barely able to keep it together. "You are like the sister I never had and I love you so much Gin."

Ginny now had tears in her eyes.

"Mione, I love you like a sister too. I was worried you guys weren't going to accept me."

"Nope Gin never gonna happen, I'm afraid you are well and truly stuck with us, there is nothing you can do or say that will change that." Said Fred.

"Yeah Gin we are always here for you and don't feel like you can't come and talk to us about anything you need at all." George chimed in.

Ginny breathed a huge sigh of relief, she was so happy that two of her six big brothers accepted her and she hoped that it would go as well as it had just done when she told the rest of her family.

After Ginny's big news Hermione just wanted to enjoy the time they had left of their trip to Hogsmeade so she suggested they get out of the pub and walk around a bit, do some Christmas shopping. The suggestion was genuine but it also let her spend some more one on one time with Fred, which is what she really wanted, no matter how much she also loved Ginny and George.

The quartet left the Three Broomsticks and broke off into twos Ginny and George stopped to look at some of the sweets in Honeyduke's whereas Hermione and Fred slowing wandered towards Zonko's joke shop, both of them had gotten most of the presents for their friends and family but both needed to pick something up for George, which was fairly convenient.

They walked slowly along Fred wrapped his arm around Hermione's petite frame and she wrapped an arm around his waist. Hermione was so happy, she knew it hadn't been long but she had missed Fred.

They spent a while looking around the shops, Hermione picked up a few things for school as well and then the twins announced they had to get back to the shop. They had only left Verity in charge with no help so they had to go and make sure their shop was still in one piece.

Fred and George walked Hermione and Ginny back up to the castle and said their goodbyes, Fred was more reluctant to leave than George was, but it was only another couple of weeks before Christmas and then he and Hermione could spend the entire holidays together. This gave them both comfort.

Once they reached the main entrance it was dinner time and they headed straight into the Great Hall to warm up with some good food.
