The van came to a screeching halt and Gunnar felt three sets of hands grab him and yank him towards opening doors.
"What the hell happened?" He thought. Everything was haze. He could feel something warm running down the side of his face and a sharp pain in his temple. The last thing he could remember was watching Barney trying to fight his way towards him during the fight with Stonebanks. Then everything went blank. He felt fabric rubbing against his face. A hood?
"Take him to the cells!" A man with a heavy accent yelled out. "With the other American!"
Gunnar was pushed and shoved this way and that. His body felt heavy from drugs and he stumbled back and forth. His wrists were bound behind his back.
"Other American?" He thought. "Was someone else taken too?"
The fight that the Expendables had taken part in was long a exhausting. Their old enemy Conrad Stonebanks had tried to kill them numerous times. After this fight with his military, the Expendables took a beating like no other and need to get back on their feet before Stonebanks strikes again.
