Kai's Point of View
After the teams were announced, I walked with Hinata, eager to eat. I looked around and looked around for our new teammates. I furrowed my brow, not seeing them anywhere. "Hey Hinata-Nee, do you-" I was cut off by one of our new teammates.
"Hey! I'm Kiba Inuzuka, and this is Akamaru!" The boy said, grinning widly. He had red fang marks on his cheeks and a grey jacket on. The dog that he carried around on his head was white with some brown fur on his ears. I tryed to supress the smile growning on my face as I looked at the small dog. Hinata hid herself behind me slightly as Kiba walked toward us, a smile still on his face.
I smiled back politely, "Hello, I'm Kai, and this is Hinata. It's nice to meet you." I glanced around, looking for our other teammate. I looked at Akamaru again, trying to hide it. Kiba's smile widened as he noticed me looking at Akamaru and the small dog made a noise, making Kiba laugh.
Whenever I tell people about my odd love for dogs, they usually look at me weird. Hyuga's don't really have any conections to animals, but I can't help it! The Hyuga clan doesn't define me!
Kiba smiled at me again and I shifted uncomfortably. Spending so much time with Hinata, I picked up some of her habits. I could handle talking to new people and being polite just fine, but when the attention was only on me, I ususally stuttered a bit. "H-have you seen our other teammate?" I asked, resisting the urge to back away.
Kiba shrugged and suddenly a voice spoke up, "Am I so invisible to my teammates?" The voice said. It was slightly monotone, and I turned to see a boy with dark round glasses and a coat that covered his mouth.
Our team sure is different...
