nothing exciting has happened since christmas, carmen and ron were still freinds nothing more.

it was febuary 9th, four days before lunas birthdays and five before the worst holiday ever

"good morning carmen" hermione said as carmen sat down next to ron in the great hall

"morning"

"hi carmen" harry said looking up at her

"hello?" carmen replied confused cause harry seemed to hate her

"i guess i have to be nice to you now cause hermione and ron are obsessed with you" harry said

"uhm ok"

"freinds?" harry said reaching out his hand

"freinds." carmen said shaking his hand

carmen looked at ron confused, he just shrugged his shoulders at her

"anyway we need to plan lunas party, she's my best friend so we have to do something" carmen told the group

"i agree" ginny said

"where is luna anyway?" harry asked

"neville is helping her with the herbology project" ginny said

"how about we do something at the black lake, luna loves that lake" carmen said to the group

"sounds good" ron said with a mouth full of food sending a thumbs up

"me and carmen will plan it, you guys just make sure to get her something nice" ginny told them

the day went on as usual

"gin!" carmen said to ginny sitting on the common room couch

"hey carmen"

"so lunas birthday"

"yes, i want to make it special cause she's never had a group like this before" ginny said

it's sweet how much ginny loves luna

"agreed! i'll make the cake" carmen said

"glad your good at cooking i didn't get my moms skills" ginny said laughing

"let's just get a group of her friends together and  hang out at the lake?"

"she's gonna love it"

"ok invitations" carmen said grabbing a pen
