Chapter 15

"Hey kid.. You up yet..?"
I wake up to Zack's lazy words.

"Yeah.."
He pulls me in closer to his face. But I push him away
"Yeah!"

He stared at me for a second until I sat up, it was hardly day light.

That dream had reminded me, how rude I'd been to someone who'd given me a home.
I get out the back seat and into the front seat.

I know Justin was horrible to me last time we talked but what excuse do I have for being like that to him first?

"Hey where ya goin'?"
Zack yells at me,

"We're going back to my old apartment."

"The hell do ya mean?"

I sigh "I need to apologize to someone."

I start driving and Zack climbs to the front,

"You don't mean that Justin kid, do ya?"

I try to focus more on the road once I notice my vision getting blurry, "I.. I do.."

Zack grunts, "What would you needa apologize to him for?"

I try ignoring his yelling but its hard to focus, his yelling becomes muffled and I fall asleep.

"(Y/n) (L/n)."

I wake up and look a round to find myself in a church. Standing in front of me was that weird priest, then beside me was Zack who was still asleep.

"I have an offer for the two of you."

I roll my eyes, "Not interested." I say cutting him off,
he just smiles.

"I was afraid you'd say that. It'd be a pity if the authorities found you here."

I jolt up, "Wha- What!?"

He continues with his empty smile.
"Are you willing to listen now?" 

I nod giving him an empty expression back.

"My name is Gray, and I'm looking for angels, to work with me on my little experiment.. I need angels that find it only natural to murder humans."

I stare at him for a while thinking,
"And what does that have to do with us?"

"I was hoping you'd be willing to join me."

I stare at him, "What about Zack..? I can't just leave him."

"I'd be willing to take him as well."

I look over to Zack whos still passed out and put my hand on his head.

"And whats in it for us?"

He smiles "Anything I can do."

I'm not sure if I should accept his offer, it doesn't sound bad but I'd feel horrible making a choice for both of us without Zack awake,

"I'd like to wait until Zack wakes up, then we'll make the choice together."

"Fine then. If you'd like to meet them, the other angels are out in the garden area."

I sigh and stand up, "Keep him safe while I'm out."
