In irritation Sara flailed her arms around inside the computer compartment, "I am at a complete loss, this computer is so stone age at this point." Sara threw the paper with the steps to fix the computer made by Ratchet aside, Miko's happy voice distracted Sara enough that she saw something that was just...wrong, maybe right?
Sara shrugged she's been getting a lot of unfocused and spaced out moments since joining the bots.
Sara wondered what would happen if she modified the signal processor and made it generate more electric pulses 200 felt good and what if she modulated it to 400 hertz.
That sounded right.
Sara stood up and got to work on whatever it was that went through her head, sometimes she even surprises herself. Sara soon squealed when she got electrocuted, she could feel her hair stand out on end.
Concentrate Sara, concentrate on the task at hand or they'll be a round two.
"You okay in there Sara?" Ratchet asked for her and Sara didn't even look out the compartment, "yeah just had to say hello in a language the computer understands." Sara chuckled when she heard a grumble of how humans made no sense.
Finishing up Sara dodged incoming sparks and she stepped back when she heard the computer give a hum.
"Sara what did you just do?" Ratchet's fingers could be heard typing away outside.
"Who cares, is the computer working now?" Sara was so done tryign to help Ratchet fix the computer, next time she's not gonna volunteer, she'll let Raf do it.
"It would seem so, whatever you did; so what did you do in there?" Ratchet asked as he gave Sara a hand to climb onto and pull her out. Sara couldn't help but freeze as she tried to figure that out, "um would skill be a good enough answer prehistoric?"
Instead of answering Ratchet looked to the screen as it gave a beep, "Opimus I'm recieving a signal on a restricted band, it appears to be coming from a starship inside the solar system." Sara looked at the screen to see where the ship was in her home solar system. "It's an Autobot identification beacon!" Ratchet was surprised but pleased by the sound of it.
"So there are other bots out there?" Jack asked and Sara looked at him, giving her brother the signature, you're just a stupid hoe, expression. "Why wouldn't there be Jack?"
"The masses scattered through the galaxies when Cybertron finally went dark, but cons have been known to bait traps with false beacons." Sara watched Optimus walk up to the computer console, "that should count as cheating." Sara only got a look from Optimus that was unreadable, per the norm.
"Unknown vessel, this is the Autobot Outpost Omega One, identify yourself." Optimus spoke through the com link for a few minutes there was nothing but radio static.
"I've had warmer welcomes from the Decepticon combat brigades."
Sara felt a shiver go down her spine, probably imagining what those welcomings were like in a war.
"Wheeljack!" Bulkhead explaimed in disbelief, there was a short laugh from the other side. "Bulk!? What's with all the security?"
"The rock we're on is crawling with cons."
Sara interrupted Bulk, "hey this is my rock and I happen to like it enough that if anybody hurt it I'd kill everyone in the general vacinity and then myself." Sara tilted her head when she saw Bulk bite his lip, Optimus frown, Bee rub his head, Ratchet shook his head, and even Arcee seemed concerned.
"You guys don't even know vines or memes? Some people don't know what true culture is." Sara commented in a whisper hoping the others didn't hear it.
