Strolling out of Mr. Weiss's class with Sierra, the school day finally over, and for once not trying to secretly antagonize the teacher. Something that put the teacher on edge, Sara saw Vince stepping out of his English class, Sara smirked as she recalled their little bet. The only way the two frenemies will actually get along, the only person to see them get along in public, like actual friends, is Sierra.
But they don't talk about it, sworn to secrecy.
Vince put an arm around each girl's shoulder, "did you get it?"
Sara opened her binder and smirked as she pulled out the newly stolen Algebra test answers. "I'm deeply offended, did you get it, please Vince since when have I chickened out of a bet." Vince reached for the booklet but Sara jerked it away from him. "By the way Vince wheres my money?"
Vince grinned back while Sierra rolled her eyes at the two high schoolers, the signs of a smile on her face.
"In my car, as a safeguard.""Do you mean as a way to rub in other guys' face that I'm hanging with you?" Sara teased at her friend, Vince chuckled at Sara. "That's for me to know and for you to find out."
"You are going to send me pictures of the answers right?" Sara asked an eyebrow quirked up at Vince who took his arms off the girls to look offended at Sara. "Why I would never betray my hardworking comrade."
Sara rolled her eyes, "yeah cause bullying on your friend's brother isn't betrayal."
From there the two frenemies kept bantering as they walked out of the school and to the parking lot where Vince's car sat. Sara let Sierra into Vince's car and closed the door behind her friend, who in turn opened the passenger window allowing Sara to lean on the car.
"The two of you are something else." Seirra remarked as Vince got into his car and pulled out some cash, "not our faults we get along so great."
"Vince there is no such thing as us getting along." Sara shot at Vince as she reached across Sierra to get her cash from Vince. Getting off of Vince's car she went to kick Vinces tire then remembered what happened yesterday, so she waited till Vince started his car and kicked his front tire. "Now get outta here before your face makes me barf."
"You still care Darby."
"Yeah about food."
Vince drove off and Sara noticed Jack chatting to the younger boy by the tree. Jogging over Sara looked at her brother and smiled handing him the cash. "Safekeeping only."
Jack rolled his eyes before taking the money and putting it in his pocket. A honk sounded off on the highway and the three children looked to see the black and yellow Camaro pull up to them.
"Oh not again," Jack whined causing Sara to smirk smugly and ruffle her brother's hair. The car door opened and Sara couldn't help but note how nice that interior was compared to Vince's car. "Sara, Raf; do I have the honor? Don't worry Jack has his own ride in the parking lot."
Sara blinked at how pleased the robot sounded with the outcome of seating arrangements.
"I think he wants us to get in," Jack told the other two cautiously and Sara rolled her eyes at her brother but still smiled. "No dofus, just us two."
"Yours is over there," Raf pointed over at the motorcycle from the other day, keeping Jack from talking back at Sara. The moment her brothers back was turned Sara got into the car before Raf. "Hows it going," Raf got into the car after Sara not really thinking about what they could possibly be getting into.
"Look I don't really think that-." Jack cut his own words off when he heard the door close and the car drove off with his sister.
"So are you guys like aliens or what?" Sara asked with a single sided smirk, something she normally saved for stupid people; but today was the exception.
