Chapter10-The one and only

NO ONES POV 

Hope was lying on her bed like another normal day, completely ignoring what had happened the night before with Lizzie, until Lizzie can bursting through the door.

Li:" come. Now!

H:" ugh, I don't-"

Li:" I will pull you by your hair if I have to."

Hope got up and went out of her room. They walked towards the front of the school.

H:" aunt Rebekah?!"

R:" The one and only"

Hope didn't waste another second to run up to Rebekah and hug her.

H:" I missed you so much."

R:" I missed you too."

H:" is everything okay? Did someone die?"

Hope let go of her aunt and backed up.

R:" what? No."

H:" than why are you here. I'm not complaining, but people only visit me when something bad happens."

R:" nothing happened. I missed you and I wanted to help you prepare for college."

H:" oh shit, I forgot about that."

R:" well, I didn't. I'm staying here for a while. Alaric hooked me up with a job at the college you're going to."

H:" really?"

R:" yeah. But there's a downside.."

H:" which is?"

R:" you're gonna have to deal with me. And help me get my stuff out of the car."

H:" ugh, fine."

Rebekah laughed a little and they went to get all of her belongings.

After they went to Hope's room and talked.

R:" so anyone special?"

H:" not really? There's a girl. But she dating someone else. How about you?"

R:" no one yet."

H:" are you still not over her?"

R:" I'm not. But I will be. It just takes time."

H:" you wanna get ice cream?"

R:" yeah."

They went to the kitchen and got the ice cream, but on there way out they ran into Caroline and Josie.

Hope looked down not wanting to see Josie

C:" Rebekah. It's been a long time."

R:" yes it has."

C:" we should catch up."

R:" we should, just not today. I'm hanging out with my niece."

C:" okay. Well, see you guys later."

Hope and Rebekah walked away and went into Hope's room.

R:" let me guess, the girl is Josie?"

H:" yup. But can we not talk about that?"

R:" okay, oh and the tour is in two hours."

H:" for what? Oh-wait, I know."

R:" and after that, your dad, mom, aunt freya, aunt Keelin, aunt Cami, Grandma- literally the whole family is coming and we're going out for dinner."

H:" wait-what? The whole family?"

R:" expect Elijah. 'Cause you know, he's dead." Rebekah chuckled a little. R:"Is it too early to start making jokes like that?"
